Mine is me: taken in June 2008 with clean undies on and a tuxedo, no less. Yours?
I'm a guy that wants b!tches to leave.
Mine is a precise cast of a Mosasaur Clidastes skull that I found and excavated with my seventh grade Texas History class back in 1997. The original is in a glass case at our school.

I like Kurtwood Smith but I miss your Admiral Ackbar avatars.
Currently it is a scene from the movie Creepshow with Ted Danson and Leslie Nielsen. I did it in memory of Leslie Nielsen.
Mine is Umaril The Unfeathered, the evil Ayleid sorceror-king who was defeated by Knight of the Nine Pelinal Whitestrake.
Umaril found a way to form a new body in the fires of Oblivion, and has now begun his path of revenge against the Nine and their worshippers.
He makes his home in the ruins of Garlas Malatar, the western-most Ayleid city overlooking the Abecean sea. His immortal Aurorans guard him at all times.
Arch Enemy's album, Wages of Sin, the album in which it is the last time Jonah Liiva was with the group and Angela's first appearence. It is also my favorite album outta all of their albums.

I actually thought yours was Patton Oswalt.
I decided Ben Stein was a tough guy, just needed a submission hold so I made the Ben Steiner Recliner.
Just a random fail picture. I know I can do better..
Mine: Howard the Duck. Cause he's awesome and I love the movie.
I'm thinking of putting it as Daffy Duck though. :teddyr:
I was thinking of changing mine to this:

But I've had the bat for years and why change a good thing?
I change it at any given moment...always Lugosi related. Big Lugosi fan. At the moment it's Famous Monsters #35. Big monster mag collecter too
MY icon is supossed to be a .gif of Cristopher Walken dancing.
I can't get the [Expletive deleted] thing to work though.
It's from the movie "The Phantom From Space".
It's the only natural looking scene in a movie where everyone seems very uncomfortable, particularly when they're trying to look relaxed.
I keep thinking I'll change it to something "Galaxy of Terror", "The World;s Fastest Indian" or maybe "Comfort Zone", but this just seems so gosh darn indicative of my character. :bouncegiggle:
Jeffrey Combs as Herbert West, Re-Animator looking, well cool...just as he goes CRAZY.
Mine is Max from Sam & Max, created by Steve Purcell.
Here's the opening clip from their first game, Sam & Max Hit the Road. I fell in love with the characters during the first couple minutes of the game.

Mine is blank like me :teddyr:
Actually, should I pick one? Hmm, must think on this subject.
The Radiation Specialist from the 1967-1968 Classic Spider-Man cartoon series...the quote is from there too.
Mine is the Flatwoods Monster: the scariest alien to ever terrify a group of 50's teens.
Unfortunately my avatar doesn't show its fashionable long skirt.

I loved reading about that kind of stuff when I was younger (still do sometimes) and that picture always scared the crap out of me. I read about it in a school library book and when I got off at my bus stop, I ran home terrified that I would see it following me.
Captain Kirk, from the TOS episode The Deadly Years. You know the one where they get turned into grumpy old farts.

Super! Macho!! MAN!!! from Punch-Out for the Wii.
Remember his one famous line from the original NES game?
" I don't smoke.....but tonight I'm gonna' smoke
you! And yes, Super Macho Man smoked MANY of us as kids playing with the NES. He was one hard guy to put to the canvas! I wonder if he says the same thing in the new Wii game?
Rev. Powell extending the right hand of love.
My avatar is a picture of me at the "Blurred Lines" Airsoft OP back in May of this year. It took place at Sleepy Hollow Sports Park in Des Moines, Iowa.
I was taking photos and shooting videos and was wearing the orange vest so I wouldn't get shot.
I shot seven episodes worth of video that day. The first one is the best. It's some funny s**t! :)

Ever play "Poker Night at The Inventory"?
The wonderfully bad stop-motion skeleton warriors from The 7th Voyage of Sinbad. That scene is something that has always stuck with me from childhood, and I loved that movie.
Mine is a cartoon of me from some free avatar site. I thought it turned out pretty well.

Nice avatar too! Famous Monsters was a great magazine. Two issues that were my all time faves were #66 with
Frankenstein Conquers The World on the cover, and the near immediately sold-out issue # 114 which was basically a Toho Monsters filmbook.
FM was a great magazine. I miss it a lot, and wonder how it would've evolved in today's times, with the directions that horror has taken in today's times.
I now have the picture of Walken, but he doesn't seem to be moving.
The Scumbag College school badge, Scumbag being the alma mater of Mike, Vyvyan, Rick and Neil from "The Young Ones" (although they never spent much time there.)

It's the first I've heard of it. Looks like it could be fun, at least for a little while.

FM has been reincarnated! I personally haven't seen any of the new issues, but it's supposed to retain the feel and spirit of the original.

Mine is a stylized picture of myself. Done with the live trace feature in Adobe Illustrator. I think it turned out pretty cool. The quote is from Aqua Team Hunger Force.
Mines currently the Air America logo from the 60's and 70's. Air America was a CIA black ops group that posed as an air transport group. I kinda have an affinity for military things like this so it seemed natural. It still isn't as good as my old avatar though, which was a skull on a pike!

I always thought yours was Cary Grant picking his nose. I'm a little disappointed that it's not.
My avatar has changed quite a bit throughout my time here. Right now, it's the cover of the single for W.A.S.P.'s cover of "I Don't Need No Doctor". Good song.
The devil from the bonus round of "The Joker's Wild".
Rorschach from Watchmen currently, but you know me. I like changing every now and then to reflect my current favorite thing I'm reading or watching at the time. Stay tuned, it'll probably be changing sooner or later.
