Often times, especially during work, I think of what sounds REALLY GOOD to eat at the moment. It helps carry me through the day, even though I drool a bit.
Right now:
Some beef chalupas with nacho sauce.
A cheesy double beef burrito (or two).
I often curb these notions just because I don't need the extra weight.
What sounds good to you?
A deep dish pizza with spicy tomato sauce and about 1" of mozzarella on it. That pretty much always sounds good to me.
Boy Menard, you'd think you'd be satisfied after just one, but many? Guess you have a connoisseur's tastes...
Myself could do anything layered in melted cheese. I am HUNGRY for a midnight snack. I tend to crave savoury foods late at night rather than sweets.

It's cold enough to crave some serious 5 alarm chili. I make mine with 5 kinds of beans! (Sorry Trev, but the State Department has already warned me not to ship any out to you.)
A meatball sub actually.
A piping hot Philly sandwich. There's a kiosk in Pioneer Square in downtown Portland on the way to work that serves knockout Phillys. My capacity for saving money is stronger than my yen for their sandwiches.. just barely.

FISH!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, any kind of fish, cept the top of the food chain, I go crazy for. Put in the fryer, grill, steam it, any kind of way, I'll eat it.
I always want cookies from Specialty's. Sometimes I just think about it all week and promise myself I'll get it the next day or the next day. I usually end up substituting a cookie for lunch when I finally do give in.
I think I'll cave in and stop by the store on the way home and grab a frozen lasagna.
Fried Chicken, a huge burger, steaks, onion rings, garlic bread, yellow rice, pastries of varying types, fried fish, fried clams, a huge amount of beer and kettle corn. Yes, I was having one of those food dreams recently.
