Title: Everything you didn't know about Film Ventures International!
Post by: Greywizard, The Unknown Movies on April 14, 2002, 01:34:55 PM
If I may place a small plug (well, it IS related to bad movies!)....

Right now at The Unknown Movies, I have an interview up with Jim Bertges, who worked at Film Ventures International in the advertising department. Want to know more about "The Dark"? The martial arts movies "Kill Or Be Killed" and "Kill And Kill Again"? Or how studio head Edward L. Montoro stole $1 million dollars from the company and was never seen again?

And for a limited time, YOU can submit your questions about anything you've wanted to know about an FVI movie or Edward L. Montoro, and Jim will answer them in a future update. Wanna know more about "Pieces"? "They Call Me Bruce"? "Vigilante"? Submit your questions before April 19th!

Do we just submit them here? If so, here goes...

What's up with the way many Film Ventures video releases used unrelated footage for opening and closing credits (Pod People, Cave Dwellers, Gamera Strikes Back, for example). At least in the case of Pod People, the footage used was from Don Dohler's "Galaxy Invader"...and in his book, he says that it was used without permission. Was this a common thing?
