While watching the Wizard Of Oz the other night (particularly the scene where the Lion/Scarecrow/Tinman steal the Witchs guard's uniforms) how many times people in movies steal someone else's clothing to fit into a place they are trying to infiltrate. I particularly like in Austin Powers where they parody this having a really tall/fat person go into a bathroom and minutes later Austin/Vanessa come out and the clothes fit to a tee.
How many can we list?
Indiana Jones stealing a Nazi uniform (that doesn't fit too well) from a soldier in the first movie.
Midnight Express - a guy is put in a Turkish insane asylum, and at the end he kills a guard, puts on his uniform and walks out of the place. It was kind of believable as it was dimly lit and the other guard only glanced at him. If my memories from ten years ago are correct :teddyr:
Hostel I think the one kid who gets away dresses up as one of the psycho doctors.
Die Hard, John McClain tries to steal just the shoes of a very tall German who somehow has very small feet. A funny bit.
The Guns Of Navarone has a scene where the commando unit steals German uniforms to pass themselves off as soldiers and David Niven insults me by saying "Shocking taste in undies, too." :teddyr: :teddyr:
does The Town scene where one of the bad guys poses for a cop count?
Luke Skywalker & Han Solo dressing up as stormtroopers?
Dropo steals Santa's spare suit and convinces the evil Martians he IS Santa in SANTA CLAUS CONQUERS THE MARTIANS. Ho ho ho!
You ask. He answers.
Most of these are from films, though some were made for TV. Those are noted by (TV.)
All That (TV) One of the few female-male ones I've seen.
Barry Lyndon
Captain Horatio Hornblower, RN (This has nothing to do with the topic, but look for Chris Lee sans fangs in the film)
Christmas Star (TV)
Con Air
Conan the Barbarian
Dark Passage
Droopy's Good Deed
Enemy of the State
The Hitchhiker
Judge Dredd
A Low Down Dirty Shame
Perils of Gwendoline (Pretending to be a woman does not work if you are well endowed)
Rushin' Ballet
Shoot to Kill
Summertime Switch (TV)
Thief of Baghdad (1961)
The Vanishing American
You're Never Too Young
More than I expected, when I first started compiling this list.
Strange Brew. Kind of different, in that the villains stole the heroes' clothes in order to frame them. Max Von Sydow dressed as Doug McKenzie is a sight to behold.
When I saw the title of this thread, this scene was the first thing I thought of:

"Somebody horked our clothes!" :bouncegiggle:
I remember the Three Stooges doing this occasionally.
In Blazing Saddles they steal some KKK uniforms to try to fit in. They blow their cover immedialty when the black sheriff sticks his hands out to sign something.
Sandra Bullock in The Net when she dresses up as a fireman to get out of the building once she's downloaded the evidence from the bad guy's computer.
In O BROTHER WHERE ART THOU several characters steal KKK outfits to blend into a ralley.
