I take offense to this site! I would absolutely LOVE a framed desk photo of David Hasselhoff with puppies. Some people just have no taste.
I have also given and received the cat butt magnets as gifts and I love them.
My wife received a gag gift via a White Elephant gift exchange at her work's Christmas party. It was a gift pack of Jones Soda, but the flavor were things like "Asparagus Soda" and "Turkey and Gravy Soda." It was hilarious. It even came with a spork. This gift pack is now several years old, never been opened, and keeps getting regifted through the family. I think my brother-in-law received it this past Christmas.

Funny stuff, actually I got something this year I could have easily contributed to this site. It was a wine bottle holder that was in the shape of a guy who was a fisherman. Imagine a stretched out fellow that looks like the tinman from Wizard Of Oz that holds wine in his abdomen and there you go. I successfully got rid of it.
Bad gifts are sort of forgivable, its the super cheapskate ones that get me... "Box of paperclips" style of thing.

Then I remember one year getting this ghetto looking video game that attaches directly to your TV via dubbing cords. It was a racing game and the controller was a wheel. The graphics looked like something Atari 2600 ate and threw up.
Who wouldn't want a Cheech Marin's head weed stash? That's an AWESOME gift! a lot of this stuff is really cool.

Electronic Nose Picker (finger with cord attached)
Fat Women Porn
Obsessive Compulsive Action Figure
I really get more of a kick out of items people give in a serious manner that are just plain useless of awful.
4 years ago my oldest sister gave me for Christmas a reindeer jelly bean dispenser. You pushed down on its head, it pooped out a small black licorice jelly bean :teddyr:

I love all the awful stuff on this site.
The worst gifts are those given to you by somebody who spent all of two seconds buying something from the local Walgreens.
The really awful gifts here have at least the redeeming quality of somebody at least trying, albeit with wrong-headed intentions. I love this crap for the same reason I love bad movies. I don't have much sympathy for those complaining about their gifts. Oh, I'm sorry, you weren't feted like you expected? How dare somebody buy you something you don't love?
I've had a lot of bad gifts in my life, but to complain about something somebody gives you, even if it's beyond awful... the self-obsession here is not pleasant.

That site had me laughing so hard I nearly snorted my coffee out of my nose!!!
I just remembered a bad gift that my whole family recieved, courtesy of my eastern european violent alcoholic skidmark of a stepfather. He brought home a plastic donkey that when you pulled its ears forward, a cigarette would shoot out of its arse! :buggedout: I kid you not.
He was a heavy smoker at the time and thought it was the height of sophisticated hilarity. He took great delight in offering any visitors who smoked a ciggie from the damned thing. As us kids all hated him with a passion, we would take great delight in offering him an arse cigarette. He thought we were getting into the spirit of his humour. Little did he know we just laughed at him each time he put one in his mouth.
If I'd access to it at the time, I would have put in pellets of spent plutonium for him to smoke :teddyr:
