There's quite a few that come to mind for me.
Robert Ripley - founder of Ripley's Believe It Or Not. I totally dig this man's lifetime work of finding the oddest sh!t known to man and beast. I'd love to pick his brain about all things odd over lunch.
Fred Rogers - I've always admired Mister Rogers and his outlook on life. If anything I think I'd leave lunch feeling much better about life in general.
Jim Henson - Another person I owe a lot of my childhood joy to. I think I would be entertained just hearing him do kermit's voice amongst others.
The Staff Past and Present Of Mad Magazine - I love Mad Magazine and would love to spend a whole bunch of time ragging on pop culture with the "usual gang of idiots".
Bradley Nowell, Elvis, JFK, too many to list! :buggedout:
Weird Al Yankovic- I did get to meet him after a concert over the summer. Granted, we had a short 3 minute conversation while he gave me an autograph, he was different than other celebrities I met. Namely, he didn't have 18 security guards blocking you from him. You stood right next to him, he gives a big hug, takes pictures, records voice mails, etc., just happy to have fans and treat them with respect. He was a big part of my childhood, and was a glimmer of happiness when I needed it, so to not only see him live but meet him at the same time. It'd be fun to pick his brain about being part of MTV back when the M stood for Music.
Barack Obama- I know plenty of people who don't like him or his policies. I'm not a Democrat or even a Republican, but it'd be interesting. I just like the guy. Don't know why.
Layne Staley- Alice in Chains original singer. Sadly, he's since passed away about 9 years ago of an overdose, but I can relate on a personal level to many of the songs they've done, what with the drug issue and all.
John Steinbeck- He just had a way abot him that made me want to dine with him.
I'd love to play an all night game of "Trivial Pursuits" with Stephen King, Weird Al Yankovic, and George W. Bush!
Then I'd have Churchill, Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt over for breakfast.
I'd love to have lunch or even just chat to Princess Diana and my Dad of course. :bluesad:
My favorite author Terry Pratchett, Cliff Burton, Sam Kinison, my uncle Frank who died in 1988, John Belushi, Bruce Campbell and Sam Raimi, and David L. Lander, better known as "Squiggy"
Now the female list- my Mamaw, my Grandma, Loretta Lynn, Jackie Onassis, Princess Diana, Dolly Parton, Carrol Burnett, Catherine Bach, Rosa Parks and Sandra Day O'Conner
On a happier note, dinner is on me for all of you.
Olivia Newton-John. Rowrr..
Roddy McDowall seemed like an incredibly nice guy.
Charles Bronson seemed like a very personable, approachable man, especially in his later years.
Paul McCartney. Always liked him.
Nicole Kidman.
With somebody who appreciates food. I think it would be quite fun to have lunch with Julia Child, Jamie Oliver and Guy Fieri.
Bela Lugosi,of course.
Charles Fort.
My BAD MOVIE freinds.
and of course,my wife Tara Sue-just to tell her I love her one more time.
Johann Sebastian Bach. The guy's always fascinated me. I read a very long biography of him once and though it covered every detail of his life, I got very little sense of his personality. I'd really like to see what he was like. He must have been an incredibly driven person, yet at the same time when he traveled, he ran up some pretty large bills at the local taverns.
Albert Einstein. Read a biography of him as well. He must have been a very interesting person. Rather rebellious, didn't do things the usual way, yet he was one of the most brilliant people to ever live.
One of the old Egyptian Pharaohs. I can't imagine the level of luxury they must have lived in, and what it would do to their mindset.
Count me in for Wierd Al and Julia Child. Julia just seemed to be the ultimate host who could probably start a conversation with anyone about anything.

That's me you read the biography on, Jack.
So you figured out that E = mc^2, but the problem of the undies was still beyond your grasp? :bouncegiggle:
My Grandmother (who died in 2002) as long as she cooked again.
I'm curious to know how an afternoon with Abraham Lincoln & Adolf Hitler would go.
Coffee with Abe & Adolf. :twirl:

Rudy Ray Moore, Ace Frehley, Dale Earnhardt, Andre The Giant, Hank Williams Sr, Cheech, George Noory, Phil Anselmo, Andrew and Billy Connolly. That would be one hell of a conversation
Some others.....
.Joey Ramone-heck-all the Ramones!
.Adolf Hitler-Id force him to eat knishes at gunpoint. Then Id shoot him.
.Abe Lincoln and FDR.
.Martin Luther King.
.Ozzy Osborne! :drink:
.US Grant and Robert E Lee-What a conversation that would be! From what Ive read-they both respected each other-would be fascinating to hear about that time in history from the 2 Generals.
I'd like to have lunch with Trevor because he's buying. :tongueout:

I've made a soul food dish called Peanut-Chicken Stew many times, which I think is more or less based on Maafe (not sure if that is the correct spelling). The blend of chicken, sausage, tomato, jambalaya flavors (creole spices don't differ much from African I was told) and peanut butter is super-delicious.

Andre the Giant...that's a LOT of alcohol. From what I saw on A&E, he's been known to like, drink 60 beers or something and then feel a buzz, but still not be drunk. Cause of his size and all.
HR Giger, Johnny Depp, Grace Kelly, Tori Amos, Robert Downey Jr, Joss Whedon, Terry Pratchett, Isaac Asimov.
Now THAT would be an interesting lunch :teddyr:
Rush Limbaugh & that announcer everybody's talking about that was a bum two weeks ago...
Get me some learnin's on talkin' all proper & stuff.
WRIR's getting tired of me.
Bill Hicks.
Ray Bradbury, Ray Harryhausen and Forrest J. Ackerman come immediately to mind.
Harlan Ellison, David Bowie, Jim Carrey, Stephen King, Ian MacKaye, Henry Rollins, Dee Snider, Chalton Heston, William Shatner, Adam West, Bruno Sammartino, Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Gwyneth Paltrow, Betty White, Adrienne Barbeau and Yvonne Craig.
