That's your standard field rat, isn't it?
We had rats who moved in under our bird feeders years back and I remember them being almost orange with white undersides, really neat looking. As long as the don't get in the house..
I thought it was a chipmunk, but now that you mention it, he is a rat, isn't he? Oh well. One of these days I'll have to borrow my Uncle's live trap and relocate him up the road a ways. I've moved an entire family of chipmunks up there already.
