One of the things I like best about this site is that it judges bad movies from a different set of criteria than most other resources. A movie that would normally get a 1-out-of-5-stars kind of rating elsewhere gets reviewed and looked at differently here, by sets of eyes that appreciate the special charm that bad movies carry.
I have been led to a number of movies that I would have otherwise never known about.
So, what are some of the more noteworthy b-grade, z-grade, cult, or just outright off-the-beaten-path films that this site has led you to that you would otherwise have taken longer to find or even outright missed? They can even be movies that seem obvious now but at the time they were unknown to you or ones that you simply missed but this site made sure you saw it. This can also include films that you couldn't remember but that the "What Was That Film?" board led you back to.
I'll give a few of my own:
Psychomania
Ginger Dead Man
The Beast of Yucca Flats
Numerous Hammer Films (Too many to list)
The Wicker Man (the original of course)
Bad Ronald
Those are just a few. I was just marvelling at how much this site has affected my movie viewing habits. For the better of course.
Off the top of my head:
* MR. JINGLES
* DARK HARVEST 3: SCARECROW
* MOTOR HOME MASSACRE
To be honest, about 80% of the movies I have watched since late 2009. Off the top of my head:
Plan 9 From Outer Space
Beast of Yucca Flats
Barbarella
Robot Monster
The Giant Claw
Gwendoline
TerrorVision
Frankenhooker
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Sisterhood
The Dark Power
Big Bad Mama
Body Melt
The Brain
Galaxina
Hard Rock Zombies
Q
Slumber Party Massacre
Street Trash
The Stuff
Xanadu
So a few then.
The last on the list was tough to sit through... :bluesad:

Yeah, Xanadu is baaaaaaaaaaaad. It's one of those that I would never watch on my own but I would with my wife. It's like a chick b-movie.
The most notable movies this site has led me to are:
The Forbidden Zone (a movie that never fails to take me to my happy place)
For Y'ur Height Only (Go Weng Weng!)
Gwendoline (Tawny Kitaen topless. What's not to like? :tongueout:)
Galaxina (not much fun to me, but I first heard of it through Andrew)
There are others, but most of the movies mentioned on this site I either saw long ago, saw before they were mentioned here, or have no interest in. I have learned much about the movies I love that I wouldn't have known otherwise, and that is one of the things that keeps me coming back here every day.
Killer Klowns From Outer Space
Carnosaur
Troll
Future War
Krull
Plan 9 From Outer Space
The Stuff
The Dungeonmaster (aka Ragewar)
I am very grateful for Badmovies.org helping me develop the tolerance and pleasure to watch b-movies. In a way, I can't help but feel like a more cultured and educated person after watching so many bad movies and reading the stories from the directors, actors, creature effects artists and composers who involved themselves in the project and lived to tell the tale.
Manos: The Hands of Fate
Troll 2
Slugs
the Blob
The Wraith
The Brain From Planet Arous
Plan 9
I first started coming here like in 2001; I was but a child then and very new to the... "fandom". Needless to say, Badmovies sure gave me a kick start! This is only a partial list, I dunno how much I really got from here or what all was influenced by other sites or what o.O
Attack of the Killer Tomatoes series
Basket Case
Chopping Mall
CHUD
The Dark Power
Dark Star ("Now one of my favorites" alert!)
Delicatessen
Faster, p***ycat! Kill! Kill! (Heard of it, had no huge intention of watching until reading Gunny's review ^_^)
The Fog
Fright Show
Hideous!
MANOS!
Night of the Comet
The Midnight Hour
Return of the Living Dead
The Resurrected (Just got it this Christmas :P)
Shakma
Shark Hunter
Six-String Samurai
Spookies
Uninvited
Video Violence/Video Violence 2
Zarkorr! The Invader
Preylien/other Polonia Bros. movies
Dead Heat
Undefeatable
Tourist Trap
Theater of Blood
Leviathan
I-TAL-IAN... SPIDER-MAN! :teddyr:
None actually. As unbelievable it may sound, I wasn't fully aware of badmovies.org until a online friend pointed me here. I signed up immediately, my friend never did though.
Billy Jack lead me here.
"Troll 2." And I love ya for it!
'Troll 2' and 'The Apple' HAVE to be seen to be believed, and even then...it's Lovecraftian how you think you know the creators didn't know how bad it was. They were inept, they couldn't help it.
Right?
The best though, is movies that are good (Wickerman and Forbiddenzone for instance) but do belong on this site because they're just too damn weird for their own good.
Without this site, I never would have experienced the joy and wonder that is
CEMETERY MAN.
like 30 movies about wizards I HAVE to watch.
Manos: The Hands of Fate
Some of the non-Dracula or Frankenstein Hammer films
The story of Ricky
Ol' Dirty Kung-Fu
Barn of the Blood Lama
White Zombie
Street Trash
Buddhist Fist
Tammy & the T-Rex
Manos!
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Most have been more reminding of movies I heard of or saw growing up I couldn't place.
Probably makes me sound like an ingrate, but the truth is--almost none. I was aware of most of these films and would have watched them anyway.
I will point out that Lester 1/2 Jr. led me to see HELP! HELP! THE GLOBOLINKS---and I'm the only person he convinced to see it. Me and Lester have that weird bond that way that makes me feel uncomfortable.

Barn of the Blood Lama
I recall fondly reading about this film as well as "The Curse of Count Chocula" and "Jacker II" when I first discovered this site and wish desperately to watch them to this day :teddyr:
The films of the Polonia Brothers.
And that Cane Toad movie.
Javakoala introduced me to THE EXECUTIONER PART 2 and I still feel dirty.
This site has led me to....
....drinking. :drink:
:twirl:
A very difficult subject -
I was aware of so many Bad Movies before I started lurking here around 1998, or so, but my quest for classically bad film was helped by people on this site suggesting that I watch -
Barn of The Blood Llama
Almost anything by Jess Franco
Almost anything by Dario Argento
Almost anything by someone from Italy who makes a stupid zombie disease vampire running around flick - this category has enough hours to last you until you rot on the sofa after you die . . .
Cannibal Holocaust
The Future Belongs to Undead Gods
ROBO-C.H.I.C. - aka CYBER-C.H.I.C. - well, I would not have known about the "aka" part of it, in any case -
peter johnson/denny needs to go to bed crane
rev powell- I watched the hungarian subway movie on your recommendation. It was good but lacked the structure and german singing of Globolinks.
Ladies and Gentleman, I once went through an Opera phase that was very short.
