Here's an excellent widescreen print of a terrible World War II adventure I bought on DVD-R from Twisted Anger.
It's basically a DIRTY DOZEN ripoff with five U.S. commandos (Italian actors with dubbed voices) infiltrating a mansion behind German lines to steal top secret war plans. The head German officer is none other than Klaus Kinski!
The commandos all have haircuts that I'm pretty sure no one had during the 1940s (especially U.S. soldiers). They bring trampolines on their mission and use tumbling, somersaults, and other acrobatic feats to leap over fences and battle the enemy. Every once in a while, someone throws a softball with a metal sphere inside and konks someone on the forehead with it. One guy keeps saying, "Minchia!" And one of the guys does a ridiculous tap dance.
As with many Italian movies from the 1960s and 70s, the music score doesn't match the movie. The music in this one in no way matches the military theme. I've heard similar scores in Italian westerns, police thrillers, and comedies.
Director Frank Kramer is really Gianfranco Parolini.
Luckily, this movie doesn't even run a full 90 minutes. You have been warned.
