David F. Friedman (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_F._Friedman), producer of such golden age schlock gems such as BLOOD FEAST, TWO THOUSAND MANIACS, SHE FREAK, TRADER HORNEE, GOLDILOCKS AND THE THREE BARES, ILSA: SHE WOLF OF THE SS, and BOIN-N-G has passed away at the ripe old age of 87.

His DVD commentaries for several of his films with friend/business partner Herschell Gordon Lewis are priceless and filled with often hilarious behind-the scenes stories.

R.I.P. - one thing you have to say about the films he worked on, they were truly something different.
