In Frankenstein Must be Destroyed, Peter Cushing is wearing what looks like a ring at the base of the knot on his necktie.
Does anybody know what that ring is called?
Not a snappy dresser myself, but I believe it's just called a necktie ring. I tried googling that, just to be sure, and it seems to be the case, although they appear to be pretty rare these days. I mostly found them for sale on Asian sites.
I tried Google, too, but didn't come up with anything. Would you have a link to one of those sites? I'd truly appreciate it.
From Japan, which seems to be the only place people wear them these days:

I sometimes polish up nicely.

thanks kindly.
I dress nice on the weekend; maybe not a suit but certainly not t-shirt and jeans, more like slacks and a button-up shirt.
I would love to be a snappy dresser, but I rumple very easily
