This is my upcoming review that I'm working on and so far its rather unremarkable. Which is odd considering its a movie that features talking... singing cockroaches:

That's been the highlight so far.
So, if you seen the movie, what do you think of it? You'll hear my thoughts soon enough about it. Here's the trailer:

I have a soft spot for this one. Stupid, ridiculous movie but such 90s flavour that just sits well with me.
I remember the MTV shorts but I never managed to see the movie. It looked kind of like Alvin and the Chipmunks, but with roaches.
I liked it, my mum saw it with me when I was a kid and she thought it was hilarious.
I'd give it a 2.5/5
Nothing amazing but its short and a pleasent enough way a spend a lazy afternoon.
I liked the MTV shorts and so wanted to like the movie. I really didn't. I wouldn't say it was absolutely terrible, I just couldn't get into it. Maybe it's the presence of Jerry O'Connell. Best thing he's done is Stand By Me.
I saw it once but don't remember a single thing about it. Apparently, for me, it was completely forgettable.
I found that movie so unrealistic and so ridiculous, its not funny. I mean, it is impossible for cockroaches to be able to talk like people. I mean if they did, you wouldn't be able to hear it because it would be too high pitched. Another thing stopping cockroaches from being able to talk like people is their extremely limited brain capacity. Their bodies are much too small to house a brain the size of the one we have.
And here I thought they were trying to portray it as a real thing.
I liked it, for what it was.
Obviously, being based off a series of MTV shorts and being about talking singing cockroaches, they weren't trying to make the next Citizen Kane. So, knowing that going into seeing the movie, I enjoyed it for what it is: a stupid comedy that's not too insulting. It's far from the worst movie ever made, and it's definitely far from the best movie ever.
