I do some web and graphic design in my spare time, and I've recently enjoyed reading some of the posts on the site Clients From Hell (http://clientsfromhell.net/). But I have found one post that links to a website which is, honestly, a web designer's nightmare. It's all over the place, a mess, and just a plain eyesore. But don't take my word for it: http://yvettesbridalformal.com/index.htm (http://yvettesbridalformal.com/index.htm) :buggedout:
What do you guys think?

I'm not a web designer, but YIKES!! I'm glad I wasn't on acid when I saw that. :bouncegiggle:
Must have been the work of the work experience kid....
AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH! My eyes! :buggedout: :buggedout: :buggedout:
And what the hell was that thing that was doing victory laps around the screen? :buggedout: :buggedout: :buggedout:
It's kind of interesting to ponder what meeting Yvette in real life would be like. :buggedout:

Not to mention the horror that is the world famous artist Sean Terrence Best. :buggedout: :buggedout:
My eyes are still hurting after that. :buggedout:
Was that the theme from Psycho playing in the background?
It's always good to see a website which makes me feel better about my own. :teddyr:
I received an urgent pop-up message telling me to install missing plug-ins to view Yvette's site correctly. Nahhhh......... I'm not going to bother. :buggedout: :buggedout: :buggedout:
Oh BTW: the plaza that she said her store is located in is almost empty and her store isn't listed in the tenants list.

Menard, I believe you just lost your "Damn Ugliest Website" Award.
On her map page, the map is not a Google map but almost an insane scrawl. At the bottom of the page, you find this:
YVETTE'S CARES ABOUT YOU! YVETTE'S WANTS YOU TO BE HAPPY!
All I want is my frickin' eyes back to normal, thank you. :buggedout: :buggedout:
Too... Much...going.....on......OVERLOAD!
:hot:
My brain has melted !
:buggedout:
Hey! Yvette has RED HATS!
Is that some sort of STD that causes psychosis?
Something tells me 'World Famous Artist' SEAN TERRENCE BEST had a hand in the creative design.
$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
I couldn't resist. I clicked on What is the Secret of Yvette's?

Now I feel like Jeffrey Combs in From Beyond after he turned on The Machine.
I can only think that it's a joke. WHAT A VISUAL ATROCITY.
Check out this oatmeal comic that's relevant to the topic. I thought it was hilarious:

Holy crap! Is this a REAL webpage or some kind of gag I'm not getting? It's like someone ate a s**t ton of those pastel colored skittles and then vomited all over the computer screen!
Wow... I need to wear sunglasses while looking at this!
OMG, I just realized there's like some kind of square THING that's floating around the edge of the screen on one page with the picture constantly changing.
What makes it even more crazy is on the button of some pages, they've got this semi-organized looking buttons for the main links of the page, as thought someone, somewhere attempt to organize this s**t storm into something but then just gave up (or, I'm guessing, left) before it was done.

Don't often hear Gregiorian Chants on a site selling prom dresses :bouncegiggle: Ahhhh...fits right in with the rest of it I guess.
This website is kind of scary. I stumbled upon a page, I believe it was linked to under Men's Tuxedos, where they were trying to collect $225,000 to buy the Sea Maiden, which I think is a boat, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was a mermaid that they believe to be at the bottom of Sea Hag Bog. They've got $222.00 so far from various donations.
Hmmm.... There is also a guestbook (http://www.yvettesbridalformal.com/YvettesGuestBook1.html) for people to sign. Some of the comments are just hilarious! :teddyr:

The music hurt my ears. When it popped on the first thing I did was actually cringe and shout "OW!".
QuoteYour website is
like a piece of Art!
Best wishes

A bump for this thread is in order, I think. Mind your eyes, though........
Sad to say it but it looks as though this site's been taken down.
aaaaw . . . it's gone now!
Bump in order.
I read that Sean Terrence Best passed away last year, sadly.
May it rest in peace
or burn in hell
whichever works for you.
