NHI, meaning "No human involved" is often a military or racist term to disparage the victims of crimes or death as being nun human, and therefore not worth caring about.
But in this case I use it to literally mean no humans involved in a film, a film with no human character in it.
There are a lot of cutesy little films with anthromorphic animals and machines made in CGI, of course, but the characters are just humans done as cars. robots, animals, etc.
I was wondering about a film with characters that aren't human or humanized to an excessive degree. Anyone got any?
I'm asking because I heard about the proposed "Alien" prequel that presumably won;t have human characrers in it and am interested in the idea of a NHI film.
Let's just go with All Animal Casts.
Koneko monogatari (1986) or to give it its American title "Milo and Otis."
Bill and Coo (1948)
Saturnin, le petit canard (1964)
Une fee . . . pas comme les autres (1957)
Porndogs: the Adventures of Sadie (2005)
Of which, I've only see the first two, and "Bill and Coo." That is just one big WTF!
But there have been others with All Animal Casts.
TV series such as . . .
Tales of the Riverbank (1960)
Further Tales of the Riverbank (1992)
Once Upon a Hamster (1995)
The TV movie . . .
The Adventures of Dynamo Duck (1990)
And the short subjects . . .
The Lonesome Stranger (1946)
Orange Blossoms for Violet (1952)
Anything missing . . . Yes
Lancelot Link
That ought to get you started.
Milo And Otis
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL. No humans. They're not human. They're evil demons from HELL!!!!!
