Despite releasing a record 13 Films in China, the gross box office fell for another year. Its #1 grossing movie was Pearl Harbor.
Does anyone know what the other 12 movies were?!?!?
Mmm... Heard the japanese are not precisely popular in China. Thiscould help to explin. This or the fact that Chinese may not expect movies to be logical at all, as it happens in many Hong-kong flicks. Must be a cultural thing.
I am afraid I do not, but, it would be interesting to know, if anybody does know . . . ?
But, what I wanted to say, if you think "Pearl Harbor" #1 in China is strange, it was the #1 movie in Japan the week it was released there. Now, that is strange. Enjoy!
