Someone dying in a movie should invoke my different reactions and feelings; like shock, horror, or saddness. A death scenes should not make you laugh or giggle, unless of course they are going for that. What death scenes that are suppose to be serious that you found funny.
My all time pick is a movie I recently ran into called Anaconda 3: The Offspring. In that scene, a scientist gets speared through the chest by an anaconda's tail (It's Skiffy Channel science, don't think about it). The CGI and effects are so bad, from the tail to the blood that looks like melted chocolate, that I laughed out loud. It is so gloriously horrible, yet played so straight.

The scene happens right around 5:20. Also, the whole clip is in German, so don't watching anything else.
At about 3:40 in this video. I NEVER would have seen that coming :bouncegiggle:

Prophecy, of course. Even when I was young enough to be scared by the movie, this part sent me into a giggling fit.

Gawd, all the time. Most recently I laughed while watching the remake of Dawn Of The Dead. Particularly the part where the bus flips over and the older guy ends up slicing the slutty girl with the chainsaw on accident.
The number one of all time, as mentioned in other threads, was the guy who dings off the propeller in Titanic.
Hilarious.. is this guy getting a blow job?

There's a death I believe in Cave Dwellers where the hero beheads an enemy VERY unconvincingly (he just slaps the head off with his sword).
And the eye-popping scene in Friday the 13th part 3 is SO fake..

Too Too many. Sleepaway Camp is full of them. mind you I don;t think any of them are supposed to be taken seriously.
I laughed pretty hard at all the rampaging scenes in the Wolf Man 2010 remake.
Bill Paxton's death scene in Tombstone because, well, it's Bill Paxton.
And the killing of Murphy in Robocop. It is so violent I can't help but laugh.
DEADLY PREY
This makes me laugh everytime I've watched it.

The sleeping bag kill from one of the Friday the 13th sequels.
Don't know if this counts but -
In the original The Vanishing, when the hero finds himself buried alive after the villain tells him he'll show him what happened to his girlfriend/wife. I laughed. My GF was quite upset by my callowness.

I usually laugh at Dick Jones' death. Not the part that's supposed to be funny, but the stop-motion falling bit where his arms are about a foot too long. :bouncegiggle:

On come on! No one's mentioned the scene in deep blue sea where sam jackson gets chomped by a shark right after his big inspirational speech?
Pathetic.....
Well that scene is more of a what the hell than a funny death.

You know what you're right, I actually did find that one funny.
Theres one I could mention from Saving Private Ryan but it would be rather disrespectful so I won't. Its not really a death scene either so forget it.

There was one that made me snicker. Not that particular character's death, and not really the movie so much as something my friend said. I saw the movie with a couple of friends, two brothers who were both career infantry and did tours of Bosnia, Serbia, Croatia, Kosovo, etc. in the 90s. It was interesting to get their perspective afterward. Anyway, it's right at the beginning, when the soldiers are storming the beach. A guy gets his arm blown off, and as he's picking it up, my buddy makes a crack about beating Germans with the wet end. Cracked me up for just a moment.

We're too much alike Andy, yep thats the part that did it for me. I think its just the casual deameanor of the guy looking for his arm. At the end he seems like he's saying in his head "oh there it is" when he finds it.
Curse of the Cannibal confederates, when the old cop dies.

To quote the Cinema Snob,"it sounds like Benny Hill getting raped".
Got a good laugh out of The Graveyard (2006) last night. It's a slasher, and after a big fight the killer falls, apparently dead, into an empty grave. Of course he crawls back out, and when only his head is sticking above the ground, one of our survivors shoots him right in the face. Trouble is they give us a nice closeup on his face and there doesn't seem to be any bullet wound. Then in the shocking twist ending, as they're carrying off the survivors in an ambulance, we see that the killer is driving the thing! Well, duh, it's not like he got shot or anything.

:buggedout: Wow that was awful! Inept in everyway.
Seeing people possessed by Jason's heart (!) in Jason Goes To Hell stabbing people through, then pulling upward and cutting their upper body in half. I cracked up; it was so ridiculous.

That was...unpleasant. Someone must have a foot/vore fetish or something.
I'm too squeamish to find the clip, but the first that comes to mind (that hasn't been brought up yet) is Jon Voight getting vomited up by the anaconda.
Doesn't beat getting stabbed with the tail, though. I actually watched Anaconda 3 last night....Because.
In "The Descent" there's a scene in the beginning were a guy dies by crashing into car-- only to have a bunch of pipes fly all the way through his body and face (you don't actually see the bodies go through his flesh, though). It's supposed to be dramatic, but it was actually hilarious.

Yeah... He's in shock. I gather stuff like that really happens sometimes.
Here's one, you can go to about 6:20 to see it, but the whole clip is gold.

I thought that this movie was about caves? Don't remember that scene. Will have to watch again.

I hadn't thought about it the first time I saw this one, but after watching Episode III with Rifftrax, it's hard to see the scene as anything but funny.

Bill: "I'll try to arrange it."
Dont have a link but the skateboarder with the blow up sex doll getting bazookaed in Hard Ticket to Hawaii is my personal favourite

Oh, for...funny, BUT...
Uh, Obi-Wan...why is getting blasted less 'civilized' than being cut into pieces by a lightsaber? WHAT AM I MISSING HERE? Jedi, Sith, whatever. Seems they all got for the 'lightsaber bling'...
