I'm really getting into Juvenile Delinquent films at the moment. I have just recently watched High School Caesar and loved it.
Can anybody recommend any more?

The classic cheesy JD film. Great "hepcat" dialogue and Mamie van Doren, you can't go wrong.
Bad Boys (1983), with a young Sean Penn.

The River's Edge (1986), kids conflicted over the murder of their friend's girlfriend.

Rumble Fish (1983), young guy wants to emulate his ex-gang leader older brother.

Licence To Drive (1988), teens without a licence try to impress chicks. Get into trouble.....tsk, tsk :teddyr:

Does this count ?

Brick?
Rebel Without A Cause! :teddyr:
Here are a few:
* BLACKBOARD JUNGLE - One of the best ever
* HIGH SCHOOL CONFIDENTIAL - Already mentioned, but another vote for this one
* TEENAGE GANG DEBS
* GIRL GANG
* THE VIOLENT YEARS
* THE CHOPPERS (Arch Hall, Jr.!)

Switchblade Sisters (1975)
Probably the coolest movie about Juvenile Delinquents ever made.
Let's not forget WEST SIDE STORY. There's nothing more intimidating than a J.D. gang attacking people with jazz dancing.
Some great titles so far. If you want a plethora of juvie deliquent films from the black and white era, check out the Dead End kids films from the 30's, which in turn spawned the later Little Tough Guys, The East Side Kids, and The Bowery Boys. The series comprise over 80 films in total. However, this is really old school stuff from the 30's and 40's.

Love this stuff. ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES is one of my favorite old gangster movies.
Savage Streets! :thumbup:

I don't know if you would really classify it as about juvenile delinquents, but how about TO SIR WITH LOVE ...
The Outsiders
Massacre At Central High
I was mostly after B+W/ early movies, but liking the later film suggestions.
:cheers:

THE DELICATE DELINQUENT with Jerry Lewis and Darren McGavin. It's my favorite Jerry Lewis movie and in addition to being a good comedy, it has some cool delinquent characters.
I agree with Switchblade Sisters!
Another great one that I don't believe I've seen mentioned is Class of 1984.
Class Of Nuke 'Em High!

This is an inferior remake of BLACKBOARD JUNGLE. I actually saw CLASS OF 1984 in the theater when it was new!

Excellent point! I hadn't really thought about that. Of course, when I said 'great one' for Class of 1984, I was definitely meaning in the spirit of this board (bad movies). I love Class of 1984 for it's cheese, but Blackboard Jungle is by far the better flick.
While some parts of the movie may be missing due to it's age, Bruce Lee (yes that Bruce Lee) was a childhood star in Hong Kong.
He starred in a movie called "Boys On The Street" that did it's own part to portray the life of post WW2 Chinese orphans and juvenile delinquents in the streets of Hong Kong. Here's a clip:

I saw the Jim Belushi action movie ( I know :lookingup: ) "The Principal" when I was a young one on TV. It actually had me scared that's what High School was like. Bunch of blood thirsty Drug Dealers and Lockers covered in Graffiti and garbage. I was a dumb child...

I remember watching that in the theatre. I was still working at a multiplex and could see movies for free any time I wanted to. It was such a bad movie, but a fun bad movie.

High School High with Jon Lovtiz. Cracks me up every time
Pump Up the Volume with Christian Slater. Great movie, haven't seen it in the longest time. Will have to rectify that soon.

Switchblade Sisters is a must.
I have to add 1980's "Times Square" to this list. This is a really different kind of movie. Its hard to describe but it certainly falls into the category you are looking for.

Cheers. I will.
Has RIOT ON SUNSET STRIP (1967) been mentioned? It a great 'Cops vs Hippies' flick.
Featuring a grumpy Aldo Ray and The Chocolate Watchband as Themselves.
Has Class Of 1984 been mentioned?
Best movie ever!
THE LEGEND OF BILLIE JEAN (1985)
Billie Jean wasn't born a juvenile delinquent - she was forced into being an outlaw by a guy wrecking her brother's scooter!
