Throughout life I find that I talk to myself to an excess. Sometimes I think out loud so I'm actually having a conversation with myself. I do this in front of everyone and the most common question I hear is "who are you talking to" at home, work and just about anywhere I go. Its a habit that I simply can't stop. I don't feel it makes me crazy. Matter of fact I feel much more sane whenever I do it. I know I'm not the only one who does so.
Frequently for me. AND STOP TALKIN TO YE SELF!!! :hatred:
Frequently but mostly to vocalize problems I'm trying to work out. It helps to give a voice to them and make them a bit more real, when I work in my mind alone I tend to miss something or forget something. Plus it counterbalances my sometimes bat s**t crazy ideas like "go ahead and wait an extra week on that bill" which can turn into a month.
I do quite a bit. Mostly in private, but sometimes ill start to some in public.
Pretty frequently. I like listening to intelligent people.
Constantly.

Likewise.
I also like to complain about stupid people, but never to the offensive party themselves.
There was a time when I had to comfort and distract myself by talking to myself when I was suffering severe panic attacks years ago. Little did that help though.
Other than that I usually never talk to myself, and people who do just freak me out.
I talk to myself all the time. It helps me sort things out without having to run to another person all the time. If I did that I'd be complaining constantly and nobody would talk to me!
If I want to talk to myself out in public, I usually get out my mobile phone and pretend I'm talking to another person on the other end. That way I sort stuff out and not look like I'm ready for the butterfly nets.
When I'm trying to figure something out it usuaully helps talking aloud about it to myself.
All the time when I'm alone, which is most of the time.
Not too often. If I'm playing golf (badly) and I'm out of earshot of everyone else, I'll sometimes spend several minutes telling myself how much I suck. Or if I'm playing a video game I'll explain to the people who made it how idiotic their design decisions were - in detail - even though they're not around to benefit from my advice.

I often use sayings like this to explain why I talk to myself. I often say, "If more people were like me I'd talk to them more..."
Usually only at work when I'm working something out.
Fortunately most of talk to ourselves (plus we constantly talk on radios) so nobody can tell if you're talking to yourself or to someone on the air. :teddyr:
Often enough. I also have a tendency to answer my own questions. Maybe I should start wearing a Bluetooth ... no one would even notice then.
Never. Absolutely never. What'd you say?
I voted frequently but it's probably between frequently and rarely. I tend to talk to myself quite a bit when I'm in my car.
All the damn time. It was such a blessing to have a baby I could talk to instead.
Rarely nowadays but in the past before I had a girlfriend, I did it much more often...
I usually talk to myself when I'm aggravated. Examples:
* While driving - "If this motherf**ker doesn't get the f**k out of my way I'm gonna ram this car up his f**king a***ole . . ."
* While assembling something - "Naturally, the f**king holes don't line up, so I can't get the f**king bolt in. I'd like to get my hands on the motherf**ker who designed this f**king piece of s**t."
Constantly. At work,in the store,on the street. It reminds me of a line I heard a stand up comic use once about people in NYC who walk around talking to themselves-"We should pair them up-that way it'll look like they're having a conversation."
I always talk to myself.
Its the only way to get a good conversation.
