Kinda meh about 1995. Quite a few I have never seen, lots of faves that didn't make the top 20.
I kinda like this one. Interesting in that it contains both Toy Story and Pocahontas, the first of the Pixar lot as well as the beginning of the end for the tradtional Disney animation features.
Others of note for me personally:
Jumanji: I still like this one
Seven: I know there are mixed feelings on this one, but I liked it
Crimson Tide: but I'm ex-Navy so I'm biased
Waterworld and Congo: come on, bad movie fans, two "so-bad-it's-good" movies in the top 20 gross? That's awesome.
Dangerous Minds was one of my favourite films, I ended up bying the book and loving it.
I actually like most of those films.
I even have a little nostalga for Ave Ventura 2 becuase it was promted on Live and Kicking (I know none of you know what that is).
For me, Congo is the only real dud anoungst the films. Well, maybe Grumpier Old Men too.
I thought Waterworld was great.
Hmm . . . CASPER. One of those movies that was probably pretty popular at the time but has become irrelevant over the years. I admit I had a VHS copy. But has anyone watched this movie or even thought about it in, say, the past 10 years? I think not!

Me, but that's only because the Nostalgia Critic reviewed it 2 years back. Other than that...
Seems like a pretty good list and can't aruge with any of the top 10. Like that Jumanji is pretty high up there.
I actually graduated high school the summer of that year. Went to college right after in the fall. It was a fun year where I began to find an identity.
Toy Story - I believe I saw opening day, still love it.
Jumanji - I saw in a second run theater, great and underrated film.
Batman Forever - Heh, I actually recall seeing this one way after the fact. I kind of put it off and rightfully so.
Goldeneye - I saw that film with my father in theater. I owe all my Bond interest to him.

Nice to see GET SHORTY did well, though.

Congo was the 16th highest grossing film that year? Good grief, I always assumed that was some direct-to-video Sci-Fi Channel thing.

That was the only thing I enjoyed about Congo. The rest didn't do much for me.

I watched it not so long ago. ABC Family sometimes shows it on the weekend. Happened to catch it on a rare Sunday where I had no work.
