Machete Maidens Unleashed:

From the makers of "Not Quite Hollywood" comes the next great B-movie documentary, about the movies made in the Philippines in the 70s. Monsters, babes and gore. It has it all!
This is a fun documentary that includes clips and info from all your favourite schlock like Weng Weng in the classic 'For your height only.' A midget Asian James Bond, how could that go wrong?

The trailer is NSFW and therefore awesome. There are at least 4 breasts, and plenty of gore. Not that anybody's counting...
Featuring interviews from greats like John Landis and Roger Corman, plus actors such as R Lee Ermey and Sid Haig who tell funny stories including how the military would basically be bought for set pieces after coming from strafing resistance in their helicopters.
For those of us in Australia, ABC's iView is streaming it as we speak, plus also "For Your Height Only" and 'TNT Jackson". Get onto it!

Foreign audiences should try and see if it works too: here's hoping, because it's a great time.
I'm lovin' it!! Amazon shows a July 26th release date.
Looks decent. I think the title is a bit wasted on a documentary though.
I love those Philippino action movies!
Count me in!
In part this doco makes the films it talks about look more awesome than they are, which is funny. Good insights into the biz and lots of clips to keep you entertained!
This is the second such doco from the makers of not quite Hollywood, A similar film about b movies from australia in the 70s and 80s like mad max and the cars that ate Paris etc. I made a post about it a while back too so if you liked that one check out the trailer there:

Thank you, thank you, thank you! It is 9.53 on a freezing Sunday morning, I've got a weird cold, and I'm sitting in the study watching this movie on ABC i-view. It is the coolest thing I have seen in ages. Thanks for making my Sunday!!!
And thank you also for letting us know about Not Quite Hollywood. I've never seen that before, either, so I will hunt that down post-haste!
I'll have to check this one out. Looks fun!
