This is an eighties song that I have on a tape ~ I believe it is called On The Edge of Night ~ but it must have been a no hit wonder as I can't find any reference to it anywhere. Middle to late 80s, very moody, one guy singing and it is driving me nuts trying to find out what it is called.
Edit. Well that link WAS working on my Droid X. Let me look again on my PC. ???
Got it. Is this your song? Even though, I think this is a cover band...

IGGY POP - Livin On The Edge Of The Night
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rUDCbul89ms
- if you can't watch youtube I'm not sure how you'll know if it is or not! it's fairly moody and the video looks late 80s...so maybe
edit - you can play a sound sample here: http://www.amazon.com/Livin-Edge-Night-Explicit/dp/B000S541CK/ref=sr_1_5?ie=UTF8&s=dmusic&qid=1307433220&sr=1-5
Thanks, DCA: it isn't the Iggy Pop song. These are some of the lyrics:
Here we are
Must be somewhere
But you don't seem to know the faces
You'll survive this hurt inside
It's only lovers changing places
Nobody ever knows the way you feel
Nobody ever knows, but you
In the light, in the shadows
In between the feeling grows
On the edge of tomorrow
But tomorrow never knows
No matter where you are or what you do
Nothing'll ever change, but you
On the edge of night, on the edge of night
On the edge
Take a rose, call it sorrow
But it's a rose by any other name
So it goes and we will follow
Like petals scattered in the falling rain
:teddyr: Good song but what is it called?

You're welcome---just don't get so excited you soil your underpants. :buggedout:
There isn't much room down there anymore anyway, sooooo...... laundry time, I think. :buggedout:
I'm a bit embarrassed that I got the lyrics slightly wrong: I could have sworn he sang "On the edge of night" when it was "On the air tonight". Oh well, the good Rev has put me out of my misery so
