My favorite dipping sins:
Cookies in nutella
Cookies in crunchy peanut butter
Cookies in marshmallow fluff
Grilled cheese in pesto
Potato chips in ketchup
Breadsticks in salmon spread or feta spread (though I don't mind marinara either)
Chicken nuggets or meatballs in sweet-sour thai dipping sauce (always have a bottle in the fridge)
Breaded steak fingers in BBQ sauce (probably not that unusual)
Warm soft pretzel in mustard (again, not that unusual)
Fries in vanilla shakes (started doing this last year)
Are you a food dipper? If so, post some of your favorite/unusual dippings.

Depends on what I'm eating and if some form of dip is available to me and meets my dipping needs. Crisps/potato chips with salsa, cheese or humus dips are fantastic. Chicken nuggets in BBQ sauce too...

Pringles sour cream and onion potato chips in freshly microwaved nacho cheese dip. Pure heaven. Or breadsticks/cheesy breadsticks in pesto.
I'll have to try the grilled cheese sandwich in pesto sometime, sounds divine.

I'm a dipper, sometimes.
I like to dip my fries in mayo. When mayo isn't available, sweet and sour sauce will do. I rarely use ketchup.
I like chips with queso or salsa, except when I'm eating them with a sandwich.
I like fast food hash brown sticks dipped in syrup.
I like cheese pizza dipped in ranch dressing.
I like deep-fried breaded mushrooms dipped in ranch.
Apparently, I also like being fat. :tongueout:
I'm not much of a dipper. But I do like do dip little cubes of fresh pumpernickel bread in spinach dip. Heaven .... :smile:
Just like claws, I put Cookies and nutella together.
I also dip almost every burrito, taco, quesodia, chips, hamburger, po-boy, shrimp, catfish, and or cheese stick in queso. :bouncegiggle: :twirl:

I've found that I like blue cheese salad dressing much better than ranch when it comes to dipping food. Ranch has become way too plain-jane over the last couple of decades, probably from over-use.
If I have any kind of meat on the plate-I dip it in my mashed pototatoes.
I like pretzels and peanut butter.
Chicken and musterd.
Steak and horseradish.

Come to think of it, I do the fries and mayo thing.
In general I don't do much dipping, but certainly once in a while. When I think of dipping I think of Sports Bar food, and I don't go in for much of that. I'm in my early 40's and trying to eat to last for two little ones I waited late in life to have.
However, on rare occasions I've got this indulgence that I absolutely adore, and when I say rare it's like once or twice a year. I love to take a regular chocolate bar (like Hershey's, but personally I like Cadbury), sit down with a movie and dip it into creamy peanut butter. I can just keep doing that almost indefinately, which is why I make sure I do it so rarely.
Seafood products in tarter sauce.

I dip quite a bit. I love tortilla chips dipped in melted peanut butter. Its seriously awesome.
