Famous child actor from the 60's.
It's Butch Patrick the pointy eared, werewolf kid EDDIE MUNSTER from the tv show THE MUNSTERS.
I don't know how to post photos. If anyone would like to explain to me how to do that, I would appreciate it.
Just put the URL of your image, including the http:// part, between "img" and "/img" tags. The tags should each be in square brackets. Your message editor has a button that adds them - second row, third from the left, looks like a little picture in a frame.
Here's one:

No it;s not showing up still. It's ok. Try this...
1. click the link that brings you to the haunted house photo.
http://www.bestslots.ws/playtech/haunted-house.jpg
2. right click that photo, you will see properties, left click that.
3. look for the adress url, now copy that whole thing from http all the way to jpg.
4. ok now you got the code, come back to your post and right click paste it in our topic.
5. after you paste that whole code go ahead and highlight that whole thing (the http code)
6. next with that still highlighted hit the insert image button 3rd button second row , it looks like a photo frame.
7. now your highlighted code should have the [img /img] on the front and at it's end.
8. test. I hope that helps you.

Got thinking about him while reading some of the other threads, discussing old wrestlers who are dead, insane or shamelessly clinging to past fame. Volkoff is probably the best example of an 80s wrestling star who got out of the business and made a healthy transition to private life. He works as a code enforcement officer for the city of Baltimore, and is by all accounts a really nice guy. This picture is from 2006, when he tried running for public office.

Is is Frank Welker?
Yep, Frank Welker, voice of Freddie Jones, Megatron, Doctor Claw, Santa's Little Helper and many, many others.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filmography_of_Frank_Welker (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Filmography_of_Frank_Welker)
Pretty amazing list. What originally made me a fan back in the 80s, was learning that Welker voiced multiple characters on a number of shows I liked. He was at least 15 or 16 different Transformers, played Dr. Claw, Brain and Mad Cat on Inspector Gadget, and seemed to pop up in movie credits playing parts I didn't initially realize existed - like Spock's screams in Star Trek III or the monkey's voice in Raiders of the Lost Ark.
Frank Welker also played some insanely annoying animal sidekick voices (eg, the kickable little unicorn in the D&D cartoon). Let us not forget that.
OK I feel better: I would not have come up with his name. Best I could have done was "that voice guy".
Welker does have one notable role where he actually appears onscreen. He was Don Knotts' best friend in How to Frame a Figg. And he was apparently something of a regular on Dean Martin celebrity roasts, mainly as an impressionist. I didn't even know about him until about 1986 or 87, watching the end credits for Transformers: The Movie and seeing Frank Welker's name next to about nine different characters. Been a fan ever since.
I really like that I can tell my daughter that the guy who voices Fred on Scooby Doo, which premiered before I was born, also does the voice of Curious George.

I'm sure you've seen him in some movies as a younger man, back when he used to trim his eyebrows. He was in a 1968 movie reviewed by Andrew.
We need a better hint.
I didn't think he's be so hard. He was a British leading man in the 1960s (though never a huge star). Two of his most notable roles were in movies directed by Italians: a 1966 art film and a 1975 horror film.

Interesting resemblance; but you're right: it's not. He's known for his work behind the camera, much of which is considered iconic.
DENYS ARCAND?
Not DENYS ARCAND.
He worked with Boris Karloff, Elizabeth Taylor, Audrey Hepburn, Humphrey Bogart, Brigitte Bardot, Grace Kelly and Jim Henson, to name a few.

Not Hume Cronyn. (I'm struck by the resemblances of the guesses so much that I'm getting a sort of "Boys From Brazil" vibe from them!)

Raffine, you are the master... who the hell is it!?
Any clues? That photo looks like it's from the 70's...
Robert Wagner from It Takes A Thief?
Nope, not Wagner.
This actor with a rather odd name was a staple guest star on cop shows and dramas all during the '70s and '80s, sometimes appearing on a series in multiple episodes as different characters.
One movie from 1980 in which he had a small role was the subject of some intense and occasionally violent protests during production and its initial release.
Did he guest star on S.W.A.T.?
Dam...I know that face...not CRUISING (1980)....dang it! I seen him in some obscure bad sci-fi flicks....
Surprisingly he wasn't on S.W.A.T. :buggedout:
But he was on: Bonanza, Dan August, McCloud, Ironside, The Mod Sqad, Cannon, Kojak, Columbo, The Streets of San Francisco, The Rockford Files, Police Story, Medical Center, Switch, Petrocelli, The Man from Atlantis, The New Adventures of Wonder Woman, Hawaii Five-0, Barnaby Jones, Hart to Hart, CHiPs, B.J. and the Bear, The Misadventures of Sherriff Lobo, Magnum P.I., Knotts Landing, Little House on the Prairie, Quincy M.E., The Fall Guy, Father Murphy, Matlock, etc. etc. :teddyr: and yes, R.C., he was even in CRUISING - but you have to look waaay down on the cast list.

It's Emil Sitka. Best know for numerous appearances in Three Stooges shorts.
He was so closely associated with the Stooges that when Larry Fine was disabled by a stroke Sitka was cast as the 'second stooge'. Moe died before any projects were filmed with Sitka.

It is a great photo. I was nicely surprised when I found this beautiful photo of her.
She was most famous for a sitcom.
Is that a mid 1930's photo?
Not sure of the date, but she was born in 1909. I'm guessing the photo was taken in the late '20s to early '30s, at the latest.
Although a Kansas native she began her professional acting career in a city in New Mexico. In a nod to this fact the city was famously the home town of her character in her most popular role.

Please don't do that. You're really not giving anyone else a chance when you don't play but lob easy to figure out clues. Either state who it is or bow out. He was a very popular entertainer who continued to perform well into his 90s. He lived to be 103.
Another hint: this entertainment icon's act was further immortalized in a South Park episode featuring a certain fiery Latina star.

I can't actually see the picture, but from the hints I am going to venture that it is Señor Wences (aka Wenceslau Moreno).

The one guy is Bill Paxton,I believe.
The other guy is Brian Thompson. He beefed up considerably for the alien dude in the X-Files. I always see him as one of the Baldwin brothers for some reason. Probably because he looks a bit like Adam Baldwin.
But famous? To nerdy fans...yes. The world at large? Rather iffy.
What the heck? He's more famous than me, so he wins.

I believe he called Karloff a "limey" c*cksucker in the movie, lol
As far as Karloff and Lugosi, both were distinguished actors, and Karloff seemed to be more diverse in his acceptance of different roles, while Lugosi was more picky and ultimately confined to his Dracula image as a result. Be that so, I still enjoyed his roles in

Who's this?

The second one looks like Anton von Loevenhuk (sp?) If I remember right he invented the microscope.
No that is not antonvonloveyoulongtimehuh (?) Really? What if you got it right again?
This guy is much better known than that inventor guy.
He he he I guess nobody wants to even try...? I mentioned him a year or two ago in this very thread... and posted a picture of his father.

Well if he's some sort of past European royalty (which he appears to be) most likely he's a Charles, or an Edward, or a Louie and probably has some number after his name to denote that he's not the first of his lineage. Just a guess...

King Charles II of England?
This British actor is probably best known for the films he did in the 1940s and 50s plus a few notable 60s roles. He also made numerous TV appearances and had a memorable guest role on an episode of The Prisoner. He was most known for playing German and Nazi officers. He was also the star of the Name That Movie Picture Game current entry that's still unsolved (it's now been solved).

Why, my good man, it's none other than Ms. Crabtree's brother, Arthur Crabtree.

Take it away, JaseSF!
Well that was tough even though she looked strangely familiar to me. Pretty sure it was Blood and Lace I'm remembering her from...might have seen that episode of Adam-12 too though.

One look at the eyes, and you can tell it isn't Christopher Lee. I'd recognize those eyes anywhere. But, since I don't want to post a photo, I won't say anything more.

Wrong on both counts-the top was from 1970-when his bad movies got (gasp!) worse. oh-and look what he's wearing!

Don't know who the top one is but I disagree that the bottom one wrote some of the best stuff ever. Sorry, I know he's popular. They only made one good movie from his books and that's the adaptation he complained about.
The writer is STEPHEN KING...?

That looks 100% like Ebenezer Scrooge from A Christmas Carol (1951). My favorite Scrooge!
I don't know the movie above - but that's Alastair Sim I'm sure of it.
The movie is
THE BELLES OF ST. TRINIAN'S and yes, it's
ALASTAIR SIM who was indeed in the best version of
A Christmas Carol -
SCROOGE (1951).
I knew it! Yup, Imo he is the best Scrooge...
How about this guy?

Luise Rainer?
Who's this?
Looks familiar, give us a clue...
Clue: He was a well-known character actor known mostly for his work in television. He also was a priest.
Booth Colman?
No but he did appear in an episode of the TV Series "Planet of the Apes"...his appearances on TV stretches from 1949 to 1988. He actually played more than one character on the same TV series on several different shows. For me personally, I find him most memorable for his appearances on The Twilight Zone, the Outer Limits, Star Trek, the Wild Wild West, the Fugitive, and Thriller.
I gave up trying to make the "recognize this person" difficult 'cause that's a thread killer.
How about a more familiar picture?
Or perhaps an even more familiar pic...
Clue: He played a character named Bludge in a 1980s fantasy film starring a Carradine. He also appeared in a late 60s movie with the star of a 1960s sitcom that was named after said star. Karma to anyone who can guess the films as well...
I had to do some research. Harry Townes. The Warrior and the Sorceress (1984)
He was also the 'evil Hulk'.

Correct VenomX73! You're up. Cool pic too. He was also in the Star Trek episode "Return of the Archons". The films I was referencing were The Warrior and the Sorceress and Fitzwilly.

Hint: He had a big impact on society's perception of the hippie culture.
Hint: Taking self-help training classes was pivotal in changing the course of his life.
TIMOTHY LEARY?
^No. Neil Young compared his songwriting style to Bob Dylan's.
Charles Manson?
that kid has the same vaguely maniacal stare, and the hippie/Dylan hints would work, although I've not heard about any 'self-help' courses in connection with manson
That's him. He took the classes in prison. They were based off of the book "How To Make Friends And Influence People".

haha, nope. but that fits the clue so well maybe I should let you have it?!
ok, hint: this person is an actor, but has a lot more than just acting to their resumé
I think another clue is needed because we're all either stumped or on the wrong path.
heh, the first clue seems really obvious to me? then again I know who I mean. can't think of anything without giving it away. pretty much any type of photo would be obvious...

That's funny, I guessed O.J. after your last clue but I didn't think that would be correct because I don't see how he fits the riddle "I'm orange, but my family is yellow..." Orange = prison jumpsuit, yellow = cowardly?

I bet BoyScoutKevin would know! Would the answer be PC, though?
How about this?
He now stars on a show on which he once was a guest playing a different character.
Peter Capaldi.

Going by the copyright at the bottom of the photo I'd say: Ben Stiller before his operation.

That answer is not very PC, and just like the last one, this is another PC celebrity (hint! hint! hint!)

What's so un-PC about Stiller appendectomy?!? :teddyr:

She's P.C. in the same ay the last celeb (Peter Capaldi) was P.C... don't know her politics. Also like Capaldi., she is not American.
I get it!
. . . Pamela Canderson?

LOL! Recognized Peter Capaldi, but . . .?! Somebody beat me to the answer. Though, he is not the only or the earliest cast member of "Lair of the White Worm" to appear on "Doctor Who." There was . . .
Stratford Johns as Peters who was the . . .
Monarch in
Four to Doomsday in
1982
and Christopher Gable as Joe who was . . .
Sharaz Jek in
The Caves of Androzani in
1984.

Still waiting for someone to name this non-American celebrity with the initials P.C.... Ben Stiller may have instagramed her picture because they are working together on an upcoming sequel to one of his movies...

Image hint: The film was the return of a popular metal menace.

Holy s**te on an applestick, good job!
"the disguise of a turtle-beetle with swords." was referring to Gerarachin (http://godzilla.wikia.com/wiki/Gerarachin) from Diamond Eye. Yep, he played that monster's disguise, who was named "Drill".
Anyone may post a photo!
