I saw it at the Toronto Film Festival and hated it.  Beyond the filmmakers attempting to "shock" the audience the movie was devoid of anything.  Personally, I love movies that veer this way and that, taking the audience in places that they would rather not be, but no matter how the film tried it was BORING.  I never thought a clown getting raped would make me yawn, but despite all odds the filmmakers succeeeded.  It tries to switch genres throughtout the film but it's one constant theme is boredom.  However, the guy who played the Dad was excellent, it's just too bad he couldn't have been in a better film.
