Tentatively scheduled for July 16 delivery, but they are trying to accelerate the schedule and deliver the stuff this week. 55 inches of pure mind-numbing TV entertainment. I may never leave the family room again.

You have an open invitation any time you are in the U.S.!
Congrat's Burgo! You should pick up a PlayStation3, they've got quite a few video games in 3-D and I hear they're pretty cool.
Cool!
Have JAWS 3D, PARASITE, and METALSTORM: THE DESTRUCTION OF JARED-SYN been release on 3-D Blu-Ray yet?

I don't know . . . I'm new to the whole blu-ray / 3-D world!
I remember a year ago when everybody was complaining about 3D and calling it a fad.
:bouncegiggle:
I'm just waiting for the day we've got holographic projection to the point where it's ACTUAL 3D. :)

Well here's a good place to start. For both regular and 3-d Blu-rays.

I don't own a 3-d tv or player. But I would still reccomend this disc

Awesome. The last I saw the 46' or 48' was $1500... BestBuy. It's such a beautiful tv!

If you buy it now, it comes with a free Sony blu-ray player. But the one that comes free with the TV is NOT a 3-D blu-ray player! So I had to buy a 3-D one separately. The stuff didn't even get delivered yet and I already bought a 3-D movie (TRON: LEGACY). It was freakin' $39.99! It comes with 4 discs (3-D, 2-D, DVD, and digital copy). All I want is the freakin' 3-D version! Bastards! BAAAASTAAAARDS!
By the way, don't get sucked in by the price of the TV. I got the 55 inch, which is a bit more expensive than the 46 or 48 inch. After I bought the 3-D blu-ray player, the 3-D glasses (which do NOT come with the TV), the stand for the TV, a universal remote, the installation package, and a few other odds & ends, the total price came to about $4,300. And that's only because they were able to bundle a lot of the stuff. If I had paid full, non-bundled prices it would have been $5,500. Just to watch TV! Bastards! BAAAASTAAAARDS!
