Good one! :teddyr:
Anyway, how'bout a little info about me since I'm a newb? Like to hear it? Here it go.
I'm 41, married, two kids, I live in New Jersey. I own a cat and a big dumb Golden Retriever.
I've been a B-movie aficionado since I was a kid and ABC-7 used to show "Godzilla" marathons on the 4:30 Movie. My fave genres are horror, sci-fi, and action flicks from the 70s and 80s but if it's a "B" that I've never seen I'll give just about anything a try.
I'm a notoriously cheap S.O.B. when it comes to buying movies and pride myself on the fact that I've never paid more than ten bucks for a movie in my life.
I'm an old school 1980s heavy metal/hard rock geek (fave bands: Iron Maiden, Judas Priest, Savatage, Megadeth, Loudness, Saxon, Raven, the Ramones, Warrior Soul... I could go on but I think you get the idea) and a retired comic book geek.
Again, Lookin' forward to some quality conversatin' about my geeky passions here!

I salute your most excellent taste in British Metal tuneage, sir!!
I was lucky enough to see Raven live twice (1995 and 2000), and got to meet/hang out with John Gallagher (bass/vox) both times. He is the coolest metal mo-fo I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. One of my all time favorite bands... and yeah, that WALK THROUGH FIRE album freakin smokes!
Welcome to the center of useless knowledge. Long may you contribute.

I "retired" from comics collecting years ago (mid '90s) but I read a little bit of everything -- Marvel, DC, various independents. Spider-Man was "my boy" but other faves included weird stuff like Howard the Duck, Ralph Snart Adventures, the Freak Brothers, ZAP Comix, etc., etc. I sold off the bulk of my collection in the late 90s but I still have one long box of personal favorites of stuff that I like to pull out and re-read from time to time.
