I just (about half an hour ago) bought copies of Mega Piranha and Mega Shark vs. Giant Octopus on DVD.

Ermm... sorry, I forgot where I was for a moment or two there. :teddyr:
This may elevate you even higher than "Sir." What's the next step? "Your Majesty," perhaps????
I feel your pain. I've lingered over copies of both of those flicks when browsing thru the Shop-Rite bargain DVD bin lately. I'm not sure how long I can resist the urge to buy one or both of them...

It took me two months, but I finally broke. Andrew was right: Tiffany has not aged well and that guy kicking the piranha ~ we could have used him in the South African team during the 2010 Soccer World Cup. :teddyr:

Best scene in the movie, bar none. I've been trying to find an animated .GIF of that bit that I can use as an avatar here!!

I enjoyed MEGA PIRANHA, but not enough to seek out the other mega-aquatic creature movies.

Like I said, he would indeed have helped our national soccer team.

YAY! :hot:
Speaking of Asylum's "Mega" mashes, "Mega Shark Vs. Crocasaurus," the ultra-long-awaited (or maybe not) sequel to "Mega Shark Vs. Giant Octopus," premieres on SyFy Channel this coming Saturday night. No Debbie Gibson this time out, but we do get Jaleel "Urkel" White and the guy who played the doctor on "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine."

To me Roger Corman's SHARKTOPUS reigns surpreme!
It's got a great title creature and an even better theme song. Plus, unlike many of these films, it not a snoozy talk-fest with only a couple of minutes of action - it's packed with hot sharktopus goodness!

I actually enjoy Mega Piranha. Its really dumb, but it has so many funny moments.
In my opinion Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus is only good for one scene.

Mega Piranha is fun, Mega Shark VS. Giant Octopus not so. I should know because I own both on Blu-ray :teddyr:
The only good thing about Mega Shark is the trailer.
I got a kick out of Tiffany and Debbie Gibson in Mega Python vs. Gatoroid. I think I recorded it off the SyFy channel. So far my "vs." DVD buying has been limited to Boa vs. Python though. Angel Boris - now SHE'S worth spending a couple bucks on a used DVD for

All that and Eric Roberts too.
"Sharktopus" was hilariously awesome too! Roger Corman and the Asylum should join forces!
