QuoteYou expect to see some skin on the beach, but what Spokane County Sheriff's deputies saw was not exactly the norm.
Deputies arrested a 54-year-old Spokane Valley man Sunday after he was spotted fishing naked on the west bank of West Medical Lake.
Officers had received a complaint from a man who was fishing nearby with his two young sons.
They had spotted Dean H. Meginniss fishing nude about 2:15 p.m. The man that contacted police said that Meginniss stood up, giving him and his sons a full-frontal view, as they passed in their boat.
By the time officers arrived on the scene, resort employees had walked down to where Meginniss was fishing and asked him to put on some clothes. He obliged and put on a pair of light-colored shorts. His companion was fully-clothed and the two were still fishing when deputies reached them by boat.
When officers checked Meginniss' ID, they learned he had an outstanding arrest warrant for stalking. A deputy arrested Meginniss on the warrant and also cited him for indecent exposure.
Meginnniss had previously been convicted for indecent exposure in 2009, which made Sunday's arrest a felony.
Meginniss was escorted by boat to the resort and then booked into the Spokane County Jail.
Resort staff did report that periodically throughout this summer they had been receiving complaints about a man fishing naked on the lakeshore.

Or bait?
The pun potential here truly boggles the mind . . . :teddyr:
Let's hope he wasn't making stink bait!
I sure hope it wasn't Joe the Destroyer! :buggedout:
I don't even want to try to tackle what this guy was thinking though.
This story has me hooked.
On the bright side, I heard the guy had a really nice bass. He was showing it off to everyone.

Why he was using a Big Johnson rod, my friend.
You know what the shirt says:
It's easier to reel em' in when you have a Big Johnson. :bouncegiggle:
He started out fly fishing, then decided to lose the pants altogether.
I just hope he wasn't jigging his Mister Twister.

Or, depending on the size of the operation, he might have been making "shrink" bait! :bouncegiggle:
