Let's talk about the zombies real quick. Unlike many of the newer zombie films being produced, Romero sticks with the tried and true slow, lumbering zombies. He also sticks to the fact that anyone could become a zombie. Cheerleaders, businessmen and even old chaps playing music in the park are all susceptible to becoming flesh-eaters. The zombie make-ups by KNB are amazing. I'd have to say that to date, these are hands-down the best looking Romero zombies. A good portion of them are pure make-up and a few are even enhanced slightly with CGI. Then there are a couple of animatronic heads that get mixed in. These are tough to find, but they are slightly noticeable. Regardless, this turns out to be a superb job by KNB.

+ 1 karma: Nice review.
Thanks for reading Trevor.
Great review, ZK! I just rewatched this one recently and I'm shocked about how much I enjoyed it, given that I tend to hate any horror that's come out in the last 20 years. This one taught me that I shoudn't be too quick to dismiss and that Romero can still rock when he has to (Diary...notwithstanding).
Thanks for reading (again) Voltron!
