I got my first ever tetanus shot maybe 10 hours ago.
My left elbow aches a bit and my left shoulder feels like dead weight after icing it every so often.
Not fun.
If I had a tetanus shot it was many, many years ago. I used to hate donating blood; those needles were BIG!
I got one about ten years ago. I was helping my Uncle clean out an old woodshed and stepped on a board with a nail in it.
I've gotten a few of these suckers over the years. Always a fun time.
After waking up I reaalize my elbow feels much better and my shoulder is quite sore. Better then yesterday but it has seen better days.
I've had at least two, possibly three: One when I was about 6 years old and got bit by a dog. One a few years ago before I took a trip to China. I probably also had one when I went to boot camp in 1982. They gave me about 6 shots within the first day or two I was there. I assume one of them was a tetanus shot.
I once got one. I don't remember it being particulalry uncomfortable.
That brings back bad memories. I got a tetanus shot once after stepping on a nail at a construction site.
I'm pretty sure I was required to get one along with about 2 dozen other shots when processing into boot camp. Essentially you walk from station to station while people on all sides of you treat you like a human pin cushion. Then you spend the next few days sore and sick from all the shots.
Fun times.

Oh, and did I mention they yell at you and treat you like s**t at the same time? Ah, boot camp.

That was my favorite part.
