Towers of Terror, the first ever 9/11 horror film!
Two groups of twenty-somethings decide to race to the top of each of
the twin towers on September 11, 2001. The towers are hit by terrorist
attacks, but the terrorists don't die in the plane crash; they
resurrect as zombies hell-bent on their mission to destroy America.
These undead jihadists hunt down the characters one by one with
box-cutters and nail-clippers in dual 110 story bloodbaths!
The film features an ensemble cast headed by horror queen Shannon Lark
(Retardead, Psychic Experiment) and newcomer Aleksander D'Avignon
(Misdirection), as well as Blakely Bunnell (The Watermen), Brett
Culbert (Vampire Diaries Parody), and Betsy Landin (Dolphin Tale).
Special effects are being handled by Morb X Fx (Space Truckers, Face
Off) and Rafael Oriente Mendes (Vorgon, Divista Dos Corvos). This if
the first feature by writer/director Matt Gibson. Updates and further
information can be found on the film's website (towersofterror.com),
facebook (facebook.com/towersofterror), and IndieGoGo
(indiegogo.com/Towers-of-Terror).
I'm not even sure what I'm feeling. I do know that I will not see this movie, nor will I heed the call on your website to donate to the production.
One word: Awful! :hatred:
Thi is REALLY in poor taste....no f**king respect.
Hope one of your family members gets killed and we can all have a good laugh about it.
Wow, spam, disrespectful, and insulting all at the same time. Don't get that often.
This horrible post makes me wish I was still a mod. Bad idea for a film: no respect for those innocent people that died. With respect, take your horrible film and shove it.

Though Andrew will be the deciding factor I'm going to leave this post up here for now. Figure the poster will get a general consensus after the 10th negative karma point.

"Unpopular" isn't the same as "rule-breaking." I don't think the OP broke any forum rules.
I seriously doubt I'll be seeing the movie, though.
Please tell me this is a joke post. Ugh.
I think this will always be in bad taste no matter how many years pass. You don't see people trying to profit from the WWII Holocaust or any number of IRA bombings, child murders etc with goofy horror films!!??
I personally think you and whoever is involved with this production are morally bankrupt.
Universal consensus. I'm impressed!! Maybe there is hope for humanity after all.
Wait, no. Someone is apparently making this film. We're doomed.

I bet it doesn't get made.
This brings Postal to mind. It's not funny, it's not clever, and did I mention that it's not funny?
What the f**k? Really? I love some controversial films, but this? THIS?! I'm about the hardest person to offend, and even I find this in extremely poor taste.

Palmer says, "You've got to be f**king kidding..."
Hey and you could legitimize this twaddle by subtly inserting commentary about American culture! Oh, that's been done.
It's drivel.
I'm not against the idea of a 9/11 Horror movie.
I'm not against the idea of a movie with zombie terrorist attacking people in a sky scraper. In fact, it almost sounds kinda fun.
The two ideas together is where it doesn't work for me. If you doing something with 9/11, it needs to be treated with more respect. This sounds more like a Troma effort. ... actually, I take that back. A Troma 9/11 zombie terrorist movie I'd even go see. At least you KNOW that they know they're taking it too far. This just sounds too juvenile.
This is really stupid and offensive even by my painfully low standards.
