IMHO, for sheer volume and variety of trash, I had to go with Option 5, the late, lamented AL ADAMSON.

I voted for Adamson because some of his movies are downright boring, while the other directors' movies seem to be fun (even though they are awful).

Roger Corman deserves it more than most. Few have so many schlockly films as him (although I adore and love a lot of his work personally)..by sheer volume of cheap productions, I suspect he should take the cake.

I had to pick Ed Wood even though he didn't think he was making cheese. His movies are fun and easy to watch, plus they are loaded with catch phrases. Roger Corman has actually made some decent movies, but many bad ones that I like. He's always out to make a buck and doesn't have the love of the art itself. Wood loved making movies and there is a lot of heart in his work.

No Larry Buchanan? Not only did he make cheesy movies with cheesy monsters, many of them were cheesier remakes of cheesy movies from a few years earlier.

All solid contenders up there, but my vote actually goes to Bill Rebane, whose resume boasts such unspeakable works as MONSTER A-GO-GO, GIANT SPIDER INVASION, THE GAME (aka THE COLD) and TWISTER'S REVENGE.
Title: None of them:

My vote goes to Robert Jiras, the director of I AM THE CHEESE :teddyr:

I will have to check out more of Al's work, I hear a lot about him, but I haven't got around to watching that many of his movies.
