Oh dear. I think we got some evil coming our way and interestingly enough, it's another comedy! Get a load of this, Jack and Jill, from your good old buddy Adam Sandler. I know how much you love him, but I think you'll be heartbroken by this new one he has coming. :teddyr:

This could suck badly. Anyone willing to sacrifice themselves and check this one out for us? It comes out tomorrow. Me? No way. I got to save my precious money for the Muppet Movie in two weeks.
Edit: Found the review from Spill.com and as always, very good.

Sorry, but my movie time tomorrow is reserved for The Immortals
Sorry. So far Sandler makes a movie I like at a ratio of about 1 every 5 movies, and that might be generous. This one, however, I'm not touching with a ten foot pole. Norbit looks better than this.
There's only 2 Adam Sandler movies I have liked ... THE WEDDING SINGER and 50 FIRST DATES only because of the chemistry between him and Drew Barrymore. I won't waste my money on this one. I am going to see PUSS IN BOOTS this weekend though. :teddyr:
The only good Adam Sandler movie is Happy Gilmore. With each successive movie after that, I think he's been trying to intentionally make the worst movie of all time. He came close with Click and then very, very close with Zohan.
after suffering through Bucky Larson RATED R!!!!!!!!!!! I think I've earned the right to take a pass on this one
This is the proper reaction:

I suppose so. Guess we'll have to find another member to be the designated bad comedy viewer. Hmm... maybe we should outsource that job.
I'm likely seeing it next week.
Big fan.

Just what I would expect a talking duck to say.
When a movie relies on an actor in drag as the basis for humor, it is usually a huge warning sign. Although there are exceptions (e.g., TOOTSIE, SOME LIKE IT HOT).

And how can you leave
Glen of Glenda out of your examples.

If I didn't know you better I would say it was a rookie mistake. But I
do know you better. But it's already water under the bridge on my end, Burgo.

Actually, according to the AFI, men in drag is the
funniest thing ever.
In their "100 Years... 100 Laughs" (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AFI%27s_100_Years...100_Laughs) list, the two movies you mentioned,
Some Like it Hot and
Tootsie, took the first and second positions, respectively.

What? You got something against talking ducks?! You birdist!
Anyhow, I'll leave this here...

Sure, I post something similiar, but this should condense everything down into about 5 and half minutes.
Well, technically, if my statement were determined to be durogatory, it would only identify me as a duck-hater, since it does not imply a hatred of all birds. But I don't hate ducks. I only hate seagulls. This still makes me a birdist, since I discriminate against a particular bird. However, I have nothing against ducks.

I've heard some crazy stories about Martha Raye(she's driving the jeep). According to Al Lewis she didn't get her nickname The Mouth just because of her sarcastic banter.
speaking from personal expereince there is absolutely no way this can be worse then Bucky Larson.....
that having been said, best of luck Happy Gilmore this looks rough
I gotta say, it's not as bad as people say.
He's got another movie coming out in a few months. Sounds ace.
