I hope this in the right place. I decided to make a list of movies that I would love to watch before I die or perhaps buy to pass on to my kiddos. Kind of a bucket list. I made a list on another computer and that was lost. So I thought I would start again. I will list the movies that I can remember now. Everyone please join with your own lists if you want.
Must watch/own movies:
The Suckling (1990)
The Expendables 2 (2012)
24 HOURS TO MIDNIGHT
More to come.
Later,
John
The EXPENDABLES-dont waste your time. Big names in bulls**t movie.
Is 24 Hours To Midnight a Charles Bronson film? If so, I think I've seen it.......

The Suckling (1990)
I have this on DVD. It has its moments, but you shouldn't feel bad if you never get to see it. It ain't that good!
Phantom of the Opera (1925)
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998)
The Third Man (1949)
The Trial (1962)
The Dark Crystal (1982)
Metropolis (1927)
Any South African film that's listed as lost on our database here. Even if its' only five minutes of it.
The Final Sacrifice ~ I tried to order the MST3K version here: no go. :bluesad:

Phantom of the Opera (1925) - Not as good as I expected. Weak storyline, good atmosphere.
Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas (1998) - The only Terry Gilliam film I actively dislike. Just not my movie.
The Dark Crystal (1982) - Enjoyable movie.
Metropolis (1927) - Enjoyable, but mostly watchable as an historic film. Interesting visuals. Much of its watchability depends on what sound track is put to it--I watched it on a VHS copy from a local college library, and the sound track was awesome, and the movie impressed me. I bought the DVD, and the distributors just stuck some random classical music to it as a sound track, and it wasn't nearly as enjoyable an experience. I don't know enough about it to know what was originally played during screenings.

The Third Man (1949)
Metropolis (1927)
The Third Man (1949) - this has aged very well and is still very enjoyable
Metropolis (1927) - this has too, but I think the best part about it is that you can see what films it influenced
I always watch silent films with the sound off (the dubbed soundtracks often get on my nerves), so that doesn't matter to me.

Nightwing (1979)
What a silly, disappointing movie. The book is scary and suspenseful, but the movie managed to leave out all the best stuff from the book.
Darn...My collection is missing a bat movie (I have the MSTed version of It Lives by Night, but that doesn't count), and the Lou Diamond Phillips thing sucked.

Kingdom of the Spiders (1977)
I watched that one before. It's alright, but by today's standards, PETA would be all over this film for its treatment of the spiders. This time though, I wouldn't blame them.
Though the only thing that bugs me is how the hell did those spiders smash open a window? It's like the same thing with the movie Frogs. It'll haunted me forever.
How about Rattlers? Like I said, my B-movie collection is lacking in bats, snakes and spiders (preferably from the 70's and 80's).

How about:
* THE BAT PEOPLE
* SOLE SURVIVORS (also about bats)
* NIGHT OF THE COBRA WOMAN
* STANLEY (I didn't like this one very much, but, hey, it's a snake movie)

I hate Ferris Bueler, and most of John Hughes' stuff. Sorry. :P
Airplane's okay, if unfortunately it's only funny once or twice (the same can be said for all those 'parody' movies).

Except for anything like Disaster Movie, that's never funny, even once.
Well, I was purely referring to the Zucker/Abrams stuff. I forgot those existed until you mentioned them.
Stuff like Naked Gun, Airplane, Hot Shots or Top Secret is only funny under two circumstances.
1. Watch them once and only once.
2. It has to be with someone else with you, preferably a group of frats.

I would be willing to send you as many South Africa classic DVDs as you could want in exchange for a DVDR of the MST3k version of
The Final Sacrifice.
PM me, show me what you got (usually, most of my copies of the episodes are poor VHS transfers, but thankfully, my copy of Final Sacrifice is an exception). :)

Yes-I'm an idiot. (Heavy sigh :bluesad:)
Link (1986) any 'good'? Or is Monkey Shines better as far as non-Kong monkey movies go?
Both are bound to be better than Shakma, though...

Dünyayı Kurtaran Adam – The Man Who Saves the World
That was an odd one to say the least. I saw a subtitled English version online. I'm not sure of its authenticity. However, the plot seems to jump at times and isn't exceedingly coherent.
I also remember seeing it and finding a Turkish Star Trek series. It was weird more because most of the planets resembled the Asian section of Turkey. Much seems to have been filmed in Cappadocia, which I wouldn't blame them for there are quite a few areas there that can seem otherworldly.
Need to see:
1.DAUGHTERS OF DARKNESS (1971)
2.LADY TERMINATOR (1989)
3.BLACK MAGIC 2 (1976)
4.RABID DOGS (1974)
5.the KILLING OF SATAN (1984)
6.DEADLY PREY (1988)
7.BOARDING HOUSE (1983)
8.SiX DEMONS (2005)-which looks oh so BAD!

Would love to see Willard (1971), and maybe Ben (1972) as well for the sake of it.
I first saw WILLARD when it first came out, about 40 years ago. I enjoyed it as a kid.
I seen it again about 2 years ago...it didn't hold up so well. Kinda slow and boring, actually.
As for BEN...I also seen it on it's release. Aint seen it again. I do recall it had lots more action.
I'm a rat fanatic (animal lover, rats are in top five favorite animals), and my movie collection's lacking in rat movies. I was hoping Willard would be the best way to go.
And no, I didn't care for Rat (2000).
