Title: Annual Worst Movie of 2011 Poll
Post by: Rev. Powell on December 25, 2011, 03:27:55 PM
Here are the nominees for Worst Movie of 2011.  Polls open until December 31.

Since most of us haven't seen most of these, I think it's fair to allow voting based on trailer/reputation.  Here are the trailers for the 8 nominees.

That's not THE VAULT as I remember it.  Hmmmmm . . . the movie I saw was British, for one thing.  Oh well.  The one I saw still gets my vote as worst of the year!

Indy, I wasn't sure if that was right.  I actually couldn't find a movie called "The Vault" from 2011.  If you can find the correct trailer please post it!

Bucky Larson........trust me, I took one for the team so to speak watching this

it is one of the worst movies ever made, and it is extremely offensive

Quote from: bob on December 03, 2011, 06:00:05 PM
I just remembered that I never posted my review of this garbage

completely unfunny, offensive, nothing works except the bit in the commerciasl with Kevin Nielan giving Bucky grief about eating his grape....so naturally they used the joke more to the point where it was unfunny

Christina Ricci did gave a good performance

she is only person involved with this who didn't embarrass themselves who starred in this

this is s**t, complete and utter s**t

this is not only one of the worst comedy movies I've ever seen it is also one of the worst movies I have ever seen

:hatred: :hatred: :hatred: :hatred: :hatred:

as for Jack and Jill, which I also saw, I freely admit it is a massive Dunkin Donus product plug this isn't nearly as bad as it looked thanks to Pacino giving a damn good performance, one worthy for an Oscar nod perahps

I got the title wrong!  My "worst movie" was called THE BASEMENT, not THE VAULT!!  Sorry about that!  Too late to adjust?  It still has my vote!

People really think the A-Team ranks as one of the worst movies of the year?  Really?

Glad I didn't see ANY of the movies listed. Please don't tell me that Mother's Day is a (ahem) "re-imagining" of the Troma classic. Blasphemy, I tells ya!  :hatred:

That is the correct trailer.  If this movie does NOT win, it must be because no one else saw it.

I liked The A-Team.  The guy playing Murdock was iffy but all the other actors were great in their parts, there was plenty of action, and it seemed true to the spirit of the show.

Unfortunately, I cannot cast a vote.  The only movie from this list I have seen is THE GREEN HORNET.  This movie was a disappointment, but I don't think I could vote for it as the worst movie of 2011.  Maybe it's because I saw it long after I heard all the bad reviews of it, so I was prepared for garbage and had zero expectations.  Most of the bad movies I saw during 2011 were from previous years.

Appears that Bucky Larson is currently 'winning'.  That's good.  There's nothing worse than a failed comedy, especially a grossout one.

After seeing the trailers, my vote goes for "Mother's Day".  This looks like trash.

Later,

Looks like BUCKY LARSON will run away with it.

It just occurs to me that I forgot to nominate Immortals.  That's probably because I had suppressed all memory of seeing that piece of crap.

many many months later reflecting on my experience with Bucky Larson I have no earthly clue how I finished watching it and didn't walk out of the theater like the 5 other people did who were that that fateful day

it's the single most painful experience I ever had watching a movie ever

It's the only film that I've seen on your list, but The A-Team was not a bad movie. It seems like it should be, but it was a pretty entertaining b-movie action film.

I liked it.

It's not my list, the board made the nominations.
