Title: Need help finding a film title.

I'm trying to find the name of a mid - late 80's movie where a scientist in a hazmat suit gets burned goes after the ones who did it. I think the scientist had a girlfriend / wife. If anyone knows that name it would be great.

That sounds like it might be the original Darkman (1990) (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099365/).

Good guesses. The telling difference would be if the guy's brain got put into a robot body. If so, definitely The Vindicator.

It is The Vindicator. I saw this movie once or twice when I was about seven yrs old. Thanks for the help. Now the search begins for the DVD of it.
