big whoop I'm stealing a damn good thread idea :teddyr:
Ask me about any movie and I'll try to give my opinion assuming I have seen it
I intend to start a thread where I give my opinions of movies I have NOT seen.
In any event, what are your thoughts on EASY RIDER (1969)?
Terror at Tenkiller (1986)?
Could you tell us which movies you've seen so we know which ones we can ask you about?
Here's an even better idea...take a movie you've seen and want to give an opinion on. Do a search to see if it's been discussed on this board in the past.
If so, go to that thread and post your opinion.
If not, start a thread in one of the movie boards (Good or Bad, as you see fit) for that movie.
That way, all the discussion on that movie is in one place and anyone can contribute to it. If I want to post on a movie and I do a search, I won't have to browse 15 "MY Opinion" threads looking for where my comment best fits.
Trevor's thread was a little different, in my opinion, since he is a film professional - he's a national archivist. That gives him a little different perspective compared to the rest of us Average Joes who just happen to enjoy watching and talking about movies.
And why are these movie opinion threads in the Off-Topic Board?
(I want to reference the discussion in this thread: http://www.badmovies.org/forum/index.php/topic,136886.0.html)

Star Trek V?
I watched this once with a friend who was big into Star Trek and had seen the other Star Trek movies, I on the other hand was never into the show or had seen any other Star Trek films so I was a little lost
it seemed like there was a lot of drinking and that didn't really seem to fit with Star Trek for me, but mainly I was a little lost and confused by it

So what's your take on Hobgoblins?
Hogbolins is an outstanding gem of a bad movie!
From the hilarously bad looking hobgoblins which are clearly puppets to the whole absurd plot as well as the fantastic rake fight it is excellent.
The non MST3K version of Hobgoblins is better to me because it makes more sense and easier to follow.
5/5

What's your take on Leonard Part 6?
it's in acquired taste because some of it is rough...really really rough
but at the same time I really like the rest of it even though I know I should be slamming my head into a wall
lots of product placement the strangest of which is for Playboy because it's rated PG
seen this 3 times since I bought it
3/5
I recommend you check out the films I suggested as they're all pretty good IMO and some are rather different and interesting.

20/5 2001, Dr. Strangelove
10/5 A Clockwork Orange
5/5 Barry Lyndon, Paths of Glory, Sparticus, The Shining
4.5/5 The Killing, Full Metal Jacket
