I didn't finish the movie I'm supposed to review but I'll try to do it Tuesday.
I'm going to change up my schedule a bit. Reviews will now be done at 8:00 PM on Saturday nights. Central standard time as usual. However I've decided for just about no real reason that February is going to be...
RIP-OFF MONTH
For all Saturday night reviews I request that your picks for bad movies to review be terrible rip-offs of other movies. I don't know why I just want to try something like that.
Mac and Me, Hobgoblins
Starcrash for me, light sabers blue and red.
Stella Dallas is the female equivalent of Han Solo
Hasslehoff is Luke
And Plummer is Obi Wan
Transmorphers? The Last Shark?

Transmorphers?
Hell, why stop there with just one suggestion from that company? Pick any film from The Asylum. I garantee you that you can fill up this month in no time with their films!
2019: AFTER THE FALL OF NEW YORK
This one rips off, at least, four movies.
ESCAPE FROM NEW YORK
MAD MAX II
PLANET OF THE APES
STAR WARS

I think we could use a whole seperate Asylum month.
Nah, I'd prefer we have variety. :P So maybe just one or two Asylums.

Fair enough. I say Barb Wire then. It is a complete and utter rip off in the story department of Casablanca.
THE DAY THE EARTH STOPPED :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:
There's been lots of Conan, Road Warrior, Star Wars and Alien rip-offs - Sorceress, Warriors of the Wasteland (AKA: The New Barbarians), Battle Beyond the Stars and Creature just to name one of each.
Technically The Terminator films and Dark City borrow from old "Outer Limits" episodes too - "Demon with a Glass Hand", "Soldier", "The Man Who Was Never Born" and "A Feasibility Study". Even Alan Moore's "Watchmen" rips off "The Architects of Fear" but that series is full of ideas I've seen borrowed time and again since.
How about Warning from Space?
It starts off as a generic 50's alien invasion film, spends a brief amount of time as an Invasion of the Body Snatchers rip-off, then becomes a Asteroid-on-collision-course-with-earth movie, with a bit of The Day the Earth Stood Still thrown in for good measure.
More Invasion of the Body Snatchers clones:
It Conquered The World (you know, the movie with the cucumber/mushroom monster?)
Zontar, The Thing From Venus (a remake of the above)
The Beast With A Million Eyes (early AIP/ARC movie, actually all of these movies were distributed by American International)
Killer Crocodile (Jaws Knock-Off)
Ator the Invincible (Conan the Barbarian Knock-Off)
Ghoulies (Gremlins Knock-Off)
Here's one for you that I forgot to add in: Grizzly, a rip off of Jaws!
