It's a shark movie. It's from The Asylum. It has Carmen Electra, her husband, a rather ditzy sailing instructor, a gaggle of college age shark bait, and a volcanic atoll that is slowly sinking into the sea. And it has a fifty foot, two headed shark that seemingly must devour about three people every hour to maintain its strangely aquadynamic figure!
In other words, it was born and made for BadMovies.Org!!!
This was pure cheesy fun from start to finish. It featured bad CGI, random gratuitous skinny dipping, random gratuitious skinny chomping, boat chomping, professor chomping, and lots of other good stuff!
This one is worth the rental.
Now, dare I try SUPER SHARK?
I saw this piece of s**t. I can't even believe it's a real movie. The CGI was just awfull!
It was definitely bad. but, to me at least, it was FUN bad. Unlike, say, MOMMY'S LITTLE MONSTER, which was painful to watch bad.
I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that the volcano probably erupts on the shark in the end? :bouncegiggle:
I'll have to put that on the list to watch after I get through Megashark vs. Crockosaurus and Dinocroc vs. Supergator :teddyr:
No, the solution involves a gas can and a wet t-shirt.
I'll leave it at that! :teddyr:

Now you've just put this on my "must see" list :bouncegiggle:
This one wasn't too bad. It just came to Netflix streaming here in the US.

Correction. The DVD is available from Netflix but it's not on their streaming at the moment. My bad.

Sorry about that. You'll have to wait the day or two it takes for the DVD to arrive instead.
Anticipation.
Kevin
I really must drop this belief that there's nothing else to be done in the "killer shark" genre, at least as long as Asylum is around. :teddyr:
I did like the movie (cause I like bad movies), but from a critical standpoint, shark movies have been done to death.
So, you might say the shark has jumped itself.

Enjoy,

I will be checking this out :bouncegiggle:
You forgot to mention it's got Hulk Hogan's daughter in a leading role, and she can act as well as (if not better than) anybody else in the movie :teddyr:
I saw this (thanks to SyFy Channel) a couple of weeks ago. It was a hoot. The main selling point for me was Carmen Electra (who is aging very gracefully) but Brooke Hogan's not too shabby neither.
It was dumb, gory and had lotsa pretty girls in bikinis in it. What's not to like? :teddyr:

If you'd like to see more of Brooke Hogan she's also in another B movie called "Sand Sharks" which just recently came to Netflix instant streaming...

I'll have to check out Sand Sharks, maybe I'll do a shark movie marathon tonight

I can forgive a lot when it comes to B movies but when you have Brooke Hogan as the head scientist that tells you a lot about the quality of this one. :bouncegiggle:
Kevin
I caught the last 40 minutes or so of "Sand Sharks" on SyFy Channel as well (now that I think about it, it probably aired right before their premiere of "2 Headed Shark Attack")... it was hysterically awesome. Basically take the premise of "Tremors" and set it on the beach, with prehistoric sharks taking the place of the "Graboids."
... and yes, Brooke Hogan looked pretty tasty in that flick too, as I recall. :teddyr:
