I'm thinking it wasn't the best idea to have 5 liters of gasoline in a plastic bottle sitting right on top of the engine :bouncegiggle:
Oh well, how are you going to get to work now Trevor? :teddyr:

As from tomorrow (it's almost 15h00 here now) I'll have a six mile journey to work, I guess. :buggedout: :teddyr:
See, I told you not to buy it off of some suspicious characters. :hatred: :tongueout:

Whaddya mean suspicious? He gave me a good deal on the wire holding the shock absorbers in place!
After seeing some of the vehicles still on the road here in Texas I think that would get in trouble even around here. :teddyr:

Now that the weekend's almost here, you should take some time to fix that thing up. I'd suggest replacing that plastic gas tank with a nice metal one, like this:

And put it in the trunk so it'll be safe! :teddyr:

Nahh, I won't put it in the trunk: I'll just lash a rope to it and drag it behind the car. I hope the gasoline and the sparks don't get too excited. :buggedout:
Couldn't you just comandeer a giraffe? You have those wandering about outside you home, don't you?
Ah. I see you fixed the windscreen.

And I tightened the wire around the shocks too.
If you scroll down to the comments, the comment that Vinesh made regarding the University of Kwazulu Natal is great. :teddyr:
I have now been offered SA Rand 8000 for the car as it stands: this is for real, by the way. My car died on me in November last year and I am selling it as is to a company that specializes in Fiat cars. That R8000 plus a few thousand more by September this year - when I get my yearly birthday bonus - should be enough for a down payment on another car for me.
Just no more Fiat's please. :buggedout:

After looking at those pictures it really makes me realize that Toyota makes a car that just won't quit!

I think that's likely. From what I know about South Africa there's only one city and the rest of it is a desert brush land. Then again, everything I know about South After comes from The Gods Must Be Crazy.

Unfortunately, not true: the city of Johannesburg is similar to New York and the city I live in is like Washington: Cape Town is very much like Los Angeles. We have a huge, vibrant country here and also Africa's oldest film industry, dating back to 1896. :teddyr:
