Hey all,
I'm hoping to learn more about the B movie conventions and similar events around the country. I've heard of a few but if you know of any or a place that lists many of these I'd love to hear about it.
I'm a regular attendee and speaker at Dragon*Con (http://www.dragoncon.org) every year. It's a real treat to hang out with other scifi and genre TV fans so it would be great to find something similar for the B movie fans.
Thank you,
Kevin
One year I went to the B-movie Celebration (http://www.bmoviecelebration.com/) in Franklin, IN (just outside Indianapolis) and caught a couple of flicks. It's held in late September.
I'd like to go to Toronto After Dark some year.
They usually have something in Cambridge, Massachusetts every year. I think they call it "Shlock Around the Clock" (at least, that's what they called it many years ago). I think it's usually on Memorial Day weekend or some other holiday weekend. They show bad movies and I believe a few 3-Stooges shorts all night and through the next day. It's something like 20 - 24 hours of non-stop movies. I think they have some sort of party or something for the people who make it all the way to the end.

I've heard good things about that one from several people. Thanks.

That one is actually not far from me. It looks like it's held at the Brattle Theatre...

While the film festivals are a lot of fun what I'm really looking for are the events where there are fan discussion panels, Q&As with actors & directors, etc.
Thanks,
Kevin
