Dirty Country is a short little documentary about people who make filthy, filthy songs.
It mostly focuses on one guy, Larry Pierce, who is a regular Midwest guy who just happens to record blatantly sexual country songs. The reason that you've never heard of him is because the only place you could get his albums was at every truck stop across America. Too dirty for the radio, his only outlet was the truck-stop outlet, where almost unbelievably the only place you could buy his albums were in cassette tapes. When was the last time you bought a cassette tape? Do you even have a cassette player?
Larry Pierce is a solid country song-writer, just with a perverted bent. Some song titles:
All I Did Was Just F**k Her
Keep Your P***y Clean
Will You Swallow My C**
What Does It Take to Get Some P***y Out of You
I loved this documentary, but then I've had a lifelong love of obscenity and filth. This is really a great underdog story, where a guy who never got any recognition of his artistic output finally gets some recognition.
Don't get me wrong, his songs are filthy. Filthy in the best manner possible.
