I've been having a bit of a Del Toro catch-up recently, finally got around to Pan's Labyrinth and Hellboy 2 a little while back, so this'll be another I need to get around to!

Apparently "Mimic" and its two direct-to-video sequels have just been released in a box set. I haven't seen "2" or "3" yet but I recorded "Mimic 2" from IFC some time ago, haven't had time to watch it.
I remember watching this one. I think it's my least favorite del Toro film. Not that it was bad or anything, but just didn't do it for me.

Last week I finally got around to watching this flick, and I kinda wished I hadn't. Pretty lame follow up to a decent movie.
Based on the law of diminishing returns, I have decided that I will skip "Mimic 3: Sentinel" entirely.
