Whats everyone favorite bad movie with a pro wrestler in it? There is Hulk Hogan's No Holds Barred, Rowdy Roddy Piper Hell Comes to Frog Town, I dont count They Live because that is great IMHO. Actually No Holds Barred and Hell Comes To Frog Town are so bad they are good
I like the "Dookie" scene Whats That Smell from NHB lol
Santa's Slay (2005) with Bill Goldberg kicking ass, and Half Past Dead 2 (2007) with Bill Goldberg getting his ass kicked.
Slash Dance (1989) - no not the Fulci thing by the same name, this little cheapy is only available in the Night Chills 10 movie pack. It features several of the girls from the Gorgeous Ladies Of Wrestling (GLOW) from the mid-eighties. Cindy Ferda (Americana) stars as a detective investigating murders at dance studio. Wall-to-wall spandex; it's a cryin' shame the video quality on the DVD is so poor :bluesad:

This is one of those movies where you can immedialty tell if you're going to like it or not based on the box art.

Cool its about time, I remember seeing NHB in the theater when I was a kid the "Whats That Smell" Dookie Scene in the movie just cracks me up that and all the moans and groans Zeus does I would like to have seen his script okay Zeus in this scene we need you to groan moan and beat on your chest LOL next scene Zeus can you groan and smash stuff some more lol perfect its a take
as for myself it's easily No Holds Barred
Santa With Muscles, starring Hulk Hogan immediately comes to mind.
Body Slam, starring Rowdy Roddy Piper as well. Body Slam co-stars Tanya Roberts and Kellie Martin and Dirk Benedict. Horrible.
See No Evil, starring Kane, from the WWE.
On a side note, The Rock has a very successful career in movies. I enjoyed all his performances in film, but DOOM is bad outside of the rest. But, it IS a video game based film, so it's bad from the start.
Abraxas, Guardian of the Universe with Jesse Ventura. Sadly some people don't see the (unintentional) humor in that one *looking at Jack*
This scene could be straight out of a Zucker Brothers movie:

I prefer my Jesse Ventura with a side order of minigun :teddyr:

Terry Funk did a damn good job in Over the Top in his limited role
I guess I gotta be the one to mention it:
Ready to Rumble
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ss2Kuajw3S8
Although, I don't know if this 'counts.' It doesn't 'star' any particular wrestler in a huge role, but it's A.) About wrestling, B.) Financed in part by a wrestling company, and C.) Cameos various pro wrestlers in featured roles, including: Dallas Page, Sting, Goldberg, Perry Saturn, Sid Vicious, "Mean" Gene Okerlund, and Bam Bam Bigelow, amongst others.
But, one could also mention
The Chaperone, starring WWE star Triple H :buggedout:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tKZfReufnzw
Dark Rising (2007) - some people are out camping in the woods and they get attacked by a ghoul from...another dimension? I really don't know where he comes from. Anyhow, one of the campers is played by pro wrestler Jay Reso, who goes by the name Christian in the ring.
There's a whole bunch of films starring El Santo, Blue Demon and Mil Mascaras from Mexico. A lot of them are cheesy fun though what with the wrestlers tackling monsters such as vampires, werewolves, demented midgets as well as their in-ring villains on occasion.
The more recent Enter...Zombie King (2003) (AKA: Zombie Beach Party), a direct to video movie, is perhaps an even more amped up cheesefest having luchadore grapplers battling zombies who happen to be controlled by the villainous wrestler the Zombie King. Jim "the Anvil" Nedihart makes a cameo in this one as a sheriff. This one has to be seen to be believed. I suspect bad movies fans would likely love this as it mixes in beach party elements, surf music by the Tijuana Bibles, some gratituous nudity and lots of gore (albeit mostly unconvincing).
Actually I consider most pro wrestling movies that are actually about wrestling itself to be surprisingly good (the worst would probably be the aforementioned Ready to Rumble and No Holds Barred although they do have some definite cheese appeal, especially NHB. Hmm I think there's another thread there...
Piper has done a few other bad films not yet mentioned here including Sci-fighters, Immortal Combat, Marked Man, Last To Surrender and Terminal Rush to name but a few...
And oh yeah, who could forget Hulk Hogan in a pink tutu?

I don't know if you mean only US bad Pro Wrestlers, but, the ultimate Pro-Wrestler in bad movies was the Mexican, SANTO...http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0763803/ (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0763803/) The movies were mostly real bad, but, some are so bad they're good. I think Mil Mascaras was the Ultimate Bad Pro-Wrestlers movies, along with Santo, although Mascaras, still alive, made a career in the USA starting in the 70's and continues to make bad films and provide loads of fun till today. :teddyr:

If you wanna go there, how bout this:
Chucky the Killer Doll interrupts Rick Steiner promo.

I love Hell Comes to Frogtown! Roddy Piper is the man!
I don't know if Bodyslam has been mentioned yet.
I never saw the movie, but this story still makes me laugh.
My brother and I were in a cinema that makes most of it's money showing low-budget and arthouse films. He was in the bathroom, doing his business, when this little kid, probably 10 or 11, asks him if he's seen See No Evil yet. According to the kid with no bathroom boundaries, it was completely awesome.
That movie featured Kane, who I guess is a pro-wrestler guy. I'm surprised that a movie with the worst word-of-mouth campaign possible didn't do better business.
others not mentioned yet...or I missed them: Santa with Muscles, Assault on Devil's Island, 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain, Doom, Tooth Fairy, Insideout
Jeep Swenson played Bane in Batman and Robin.
Kevin Nash played the Russian in The Punisher (2004).
A bunch of wrestlers appeared in MacGruber.
I wouldn't call it a bad movie but the former Kurrgan had a memorable appearance in Sherlock Holmes (2009).
Why can't we spray paint a wrestler green for the new Avenger's movie, I hate that CGI Hulk!

Knucklehead is a movie starring WWE Superstar "The Big Show" Paul Wight, along with Wendie Malick, Mark Feurestien, Dennis Farina and Melora Hardin.

MacGruber wasn't that bad of a movie, actually.
El Santo are great fun for bad movies lovers, an hilarious mix of horror and action...
even when he comes to a romantic date wearing suit, tie and a lucha libre mask. :teddyr: :teddyr:
i remember that one, starring Ruben Aguirre, from El Chavo del Ocho fame.
imdb.com/title/tt0258123
Lots, lots of fun.
Lucha libre is a 100% enjoyable than any UFC, or anything like that.
and El Santo made so many films, that you can get a long filmography to watch and enjoy.
I recommend them all!

Several Japanese wrestlers appear in this one which has to be a must see in these parts.
Ready to Rumble featuring a chunk of old WCW wrestlers
The Marine with John Cena, already mentioned, is a surprisingly fun movie! It has the feel of an 80's action movie like Commando. I was surprised at how well it was made.
Speaking of Jesse Ventura, one of my favourite things in which he acted is the X-Files episode 'Jose Chung's From Outer Space', in which he plays an intimidating but somewhat camp Man In Black. IIRC, the commentary on the DVD said that he didn't understand half of what he was saying, which made his performance even more cool!

Judging by its cover, this looks f**king great!
I wanna see!!!
The WWE is producing The Marine 3, starring any generic Smackdown star.
