We've been getting a lot of superhero movie lately, especially with a couple coming this summer (Avengers, The Dark Knight Rises, Spider-Man). So, I was wondering, what superhero would you want a movie about?
I was thinking we are due now for Wonder Woman movie. We have a lot of superhero films, but none that have focused on a superheroine. I know there have been talks about having one, but I would like to see one. If anything, it would have to be better than that stupid tv pilot recently.
There's a lot of DC superheroes that have yet to make it to film but I really think Teen Titans could be good given the right casting. That series was hugely popular in the 80s and the more recent animated series seemed fairly popular too. Personally I'd love to see a Blue Beetle movie or perhaps one where he'd teamed up with Booster Gold. Hmm thinking on that, given Marvel is delivering an Avengers live-action film, why not a Justice League one from DC/Warner?
I'd like a non CGI steampunk version of Captain Britain.
Paperinik.
A comic version of Grendel, aka it's drawn in, no CGi realistic crap.
A superheroine like WOnder Woman way over due and Squirrel Girl (probably will never happen but i can dream!)
OH I almost forgot SHE-HULK cause she is awesome in the comics :P and I would totally see that. Come to think of it not a lot of well known SuperHeroines are there that are not based of the Superhero counterpart is there? i.e. batgirl, spidergirl, superwoman
What superhero movie would I want?
It actually works pretty well as a rhetorical question. :teddyr:

I could almost see it happening as a spin off to the current Hulk, by extension Avengers as well. Hey Avengers and Marvel fans, was She-Hulk ever apart of the Avengers or worked with them?

Hmm, the only Superwoman I know of was from that recent Superman arc and I don't she was really that good of a person... or from Krypton as well. Besides, we have a Supergirl movie out there if you want a spinoff from the Superman mythos.
Spidergirl, I don't think would work as a movie, since you need to already have established a Spider-Man series to begin with. Maybe a cartoon though.
I'd love to see The Tick.
Another vote for Wonder Woman....she is a great character and deserves a good live-action film. And please don't let the people who did Green Hornet do it.

There was one being made last year.. here's a photo... :tongueout: (http://www.scifi-movies.com/images/data/0003282/affiche-wonder-woman-2011-1.jpg) I don't know what happened. The problem is female Superheroes don't have the same fan base, although, I never understood why since comic books have always been mostly a male medium?

Yes, Jen Walters has been an Avenger, as well as a member of the Fantastic Four.

Hmmm...must say she looks like a teenager going to a costume party dressed as Wonder Woman, not an Amazon warrior princess. I still wish they'd used Lucy Lawless when she was in Zena.
I see your point about comics being a mostly male-donimated area. But I think if the movies they made were worthy of the female character they'd do well.
Me, I'd like to see a movie about a zero-tolerance character, who makes the streets safe from predators, someone like one of these guys....

THE BLACK TERROR
Or even this guy....

Phenono Man, but that's because it' a superhero of my creation and if it were made into a movie it would mean that I was absurdly successful in the entertainment industy.
The Flaming Carrot!

If any superhero movie would work today, it would be a new Swamp Thing movie - done correctly, of course. The eco-politics today are ripe for it!

True, like the last Superman looked more like Superboy. :twirl:

Not to mention how the successful the current run is of that title. I say we are definitely ready for a new Swamp Thing.
Well, I've long wanted an Avengers film, and it's happening soon.
One I'd like to see, but not really a 'superhero', is a Doctor Strange film.

So would my daughter,Sarah.
I'm looking forward to THE AVENGERS, but they left out MY favorite Assembler....

I think Pixar could do something really awesome with Antman.
And no wifebeating jokes. Please.
At this point what's left? Plastic Man, maybe? Get Ryan Reynolds a pair of Elvis shades and viola! Nobody said it has to be good.
MILK and CHEESE!
Ok-thy're not heros...but there super!
Written and animated by Evan Dorkin too! All the hate and blood !

That's just what I was coming to post
Also Earthworm Jim, but that ain't gonna happen.
A *real* Spirit movie would be nice.
Not technically a superhero I guess, but I would love to see Samurai Jack on the big screen with the Tartakovsky animation style.

Swamp Thing would be great.
I like
Animal Man too.
Ozzymandias speaks: Not really interested in a film version, but there should be an Inferior Five cartoon. It should have retro feel to it. The characters must also play instruments and sing a bubble gum rock song at some point in the show. Also when the villain is being lead off to jail by the police he/she must say "I would have gotten away with it, if it hadn't been for those mediling kids.
Ozzymandias has spoken!!!
Never-Gets-His-Sweater-Snagged-On-Door-Handles Man
this is a superhero of my own creation that I aspire to be, but deep down know I will never achieve his powers. so bringing him to life in movie form would be the next best thing
Actually, superhero movies sucks, except by the indian-inspired-in-american-characters ones.
