Title: Desperate Hours (1990)

A Michael Cimino film: need I say more? A criminal breaks his way out of a holding cell with the assistance of a dumb blonde lawyer who has the hots for him and the criminal needs a place to lie low for a few hours. Unfortunately, he picks the wrong family headed by Dr Hannibal Lecter, his wife and two kids who give the criminal enough rope to hang himself until LINDSAY CROUSE AND HER FELLOW AGENTS ARRIVE AT THE HOUSE TO TAKE THE CRIMINAL'S ASS DOWN. I typed that in caps as Lindsay ~ fright wig and all ~ SEEMS TO SAY EVERY WORD LIKE THAT.

I think Cimino had fallen in love with Kelly Lynch and tried to devise a way of disrobing her at every opportunity and for Mickey Rourke to get it on with her any time, any place, any where.

Truly a terrible film: Sir Anthony Hopkins is the best thing about this misfire.  :buggedout:

Well, in his defense he made Year of the Dragon, Thunderbold and Lightfoot and of course The Deer Hunter.
Even his weakest film, The Sicilian, scored a decent rating at IMDb. Go figure.

Haven't seen Desperate Hours since first released. I need to revisit one of these days.

Those two were indeed very good movies.

This is a dull, dumb movie.  The Humphrey Bogart version is much better.
