Another Roger Corman film and by good does it look as bad as always.  This just looks funny as hell.  Asylum, take note.  This is how you a good b-movie.

Whose checking this one out?

No vintage Corman nudity, though!

It's just really awful and predictable. Brian Krause delivers his usual wooden performance (I say that with all due respect 'cause I did watch Charmed). It was clearly inspired by the William Shatner classic Kingdom of the Spiders, too bad it's not as good. But, since I love bad movies, I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it. I'd rate it 3 for a good movie and a 7 for bad one.

I'll catch this one when it hits SyFy Channel (which should be any minute now). Looks like a hoot. Even though I frickin' HATE spiders... ugh...

I will have to watch this.  Looks like a modern redo of Valley of the Spiders. :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle:  Love the bad CGI.

Later,

John

It's true! Solifugids, aka Camel Spiders, Sun Spiders, Wind Scorpions are a much-maligned arachnid family related to spiders and scorpions, but not falling into either category.  Because they can reach fairly large sizes and deliver a painful (though non-venomous) bite, they've been the subject of dozens of different urban legends, ranging from their eggs incubating in the bellies of camels, to their bite secreting a numbing anesthetic so they can eat your whole foot while you sleep without waking you, to that they scream and can run faster than a Humvee.
