QuoteEver since Beijing put on one of the most spectacular coordinated displays in human history at the 2008 Olympic Opening Ceremony, observers have wondered how London could possibly improve on it. This would be a start.
Organizers for the 2012 ceremony recently asked the manager of The Who if legendary drummer Keith Moon would be able to perform at the London Games. It was a fine idea, except that Moon has been dead for 34 years.
:bouncegiggle: :bouncegiggle: Is this a fail or a win? :teddyr:
Wow. Maybe Jimi Hendrix and Janis Joplin will be there too!
I wanna see this-!
Hmm.. the Oylpmics? Olympic games for the dyslexic?
It almost looked like "Oylympics", which would have been Olympic games directed by Olive Oyl. Like the hamburger-eating event (which Wimpy has won several gold medals in), the weightlifting contest (Bluto proves to win this constantly, as Popeye is disqualified on account of illegally using spinach during the contest), and the limbo event (Olive Oyl's ability to bend over backwards completely makes her the undisputed champion of this event).
Just messing, Bull. :bouncegiggle:
Well, they could still book The Who, and get Animal on the drums.

He hasn't made a public announcement yet.
