Post by: gudniterider on April 18, 2012, 09:33:30 AM
this has been bugging me for years!! around 15 years ago i watched a movie which was brilliant but all i can remember about it is that it was about a woman who i think was trying to get home late at night in an american city! the only other thing i can remember was some  man who looked like a rodent driving about in a pest control van!!! Also another similar movie which featured a man who was trying to get home late night in an american city and running into lots of problems!!!??? any help on both of these would be fantastic. cheers

Could the second one be Martin Scorsese's AFTER HOURS? http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0088680/. A brilliant film.

As for the first movie, do you remember if it was a big city like New York with lost of skyscrapers?

as far as the first movie, only one I can think of is Sam Raimi's "Crimewave" made in the middle '80s

That's exactly what I'd say it is too.  I haven't seen it in awhile, but I remember it being quite a bit of fun.  Written by the Coen Brothers to boot...
