Here's a hilarious piece of trash cinema that I bought on DVD-R from Super Strange Video (the quality of the print I bought is significantly better than the one I posted below). Even though it's awful, these are some reasons to watch it:
* Filmed in cheesy black & white with a running time of about 1 hour.
* The cinematography and editing reminded me of old John Waters movies like MONDO TRASHO and MULTIPLE MANIACS.
* Some of the music was stolen from ON HER MAJESTY'S SECRET SERVICE!
* The subtitles were obviously written by someone who didn't speak English very well. They are full of phrases that don't make sense and incorrectly spelled words.
* Batman receives his orders via an audio tape that self-destructs . . . just like MISSION IMPOSSIBLE.
* Batman and Robin have nearly identical costumes. The only difference is Batman's has a bat on it and Robin's has the letter "R" on it.
* Batman and Robin don't always wear their costumes. Sometimes, they fight in their street clothes.
* Batman spends plenty of time cavorting with topless or completely naked women.
* Batman and Robin usually remove their capes during fights and use wrestling moves similar to what you see in the old Mexican wrestling-hero movies (Santo, et. al.) These moves include some of the most uncoordinated cartwheels and hand springs you'll ever see.
* There are probably a dozen more reasons to watch this, but I can't remember all of them!
Bad, bad, bad . . . but entertaining!

I haven't even watched it yet and I know I already like it more than Dark Knight and Begins. :teddyr:
